I hate how whenever there's a new fire my brains auto response is to calculate how far away it is from me, and make sure that no matter what happens it is growing away from us (or at least not getting too close( and I mean even as I'm typing this its like yeah, duh, u should worry about that, but also like. if it keeps burning away from us I won't care even tho that's still affecting people. but if I sit here and worry about everyone I'll be a puddle on the floor. so I have to keep perspective that the fire is far away from us
