seriously insane shit right there. Ruined my whole day. I seriously couldn’t focus on anything for the next twelve hours. Couldn’t eat, couldn’t get any work done. Couldn’t even Minecraft or doomscroll. (Favorite activities). I grew up as the kid who treated TV like religion. I watched southpark obsessively in middle school because it was my only point of access to being a boy. All my male rolemodels, all the people I wanted to be like, who I saw myself in were men from television. I remember being in sixth grade and having a counselor ask me what kind of person I wanted to be, and the only answer I had was “Seth Meyers from SNL” (he had actually left SNL at that point but I watched clips of him on YouTube and shit) because all of my relationships were between me and a TV screen.
