I'm supposed to go on a date with a respectable young man a coworker set me up with tonight. He's apparently nice, funny, and has his life together. Meanwhile, I'm eating what I hope is three day old Taco Bell and wondering how the fuck my cat keeps finding my tampons when I can't even find them when I need them...

I think I'm making a habit out of being drunk by 9am if I don't have to work.

When you're already in a depressed and self loathing mood, accidentally opening the camera on your phone and seeing yourself from an unflattering angle doesn't help.

sometimes i try to convince myself that my depression's not real, that it's just part of a ploy to get more attention 'cause i'm that shitty of a person. but then i feel that knot in my chest where i keep all my negative emotions bottled up inside, and i remember i never speak about my depression to anyone. i keep my unpleasantness to myself, it's my own problem to deal with.
