Hi there!Ā Concept art is something very important in my professional and personal career. When it comes to creating an illustration, itās easier for me to think and sketch my main characters before putting them in any situation. Itās even more important when I want to paint creatures, especially when they do not belong to our world. In my case, I canāt be efficient nor imaginative without doing concept work or at least conceptual theming before working on the sketch. It helps define shapes and how I can make a good composition for them. Of course it takes time but ultimately the illustration will benefit from all the thinking Iāve put in it.
