I’m very excited for the new season, very excited for the whole teacher-student thing and for seeing Joanne animated for the very first time. I am not caught up on the manga at all — haven’t touched it in years, I have a lot of reading to do. And I would love to come back to the fandom, yes.
I recently read through all of my old WIPs, remembered this dear blog and scrolled through its entirety, all the way to my first post. I missed it so much! I fell back in love with sebaciel a little bit, and really, really missed my AUs and the way I’d write for them, the way I was able to jampack straight dirty filth into everything I did, in a way I feel I’ve kind of lost in exchange for writing in a more refined manner, annnnd in exchange for writing for less “problematic” ships. I have so much here that I really want to finish. SGL, DD, DS, SK… I never quite let go of any of them, even though I did leave them to marinate for all these years.
A lot has happened in my personal life that stopped me from being creative. Both mental and physical ailments. But things are slowly changing, and I feel this zest for art and creation that I haven’t felt in what’s felt like ages. I think it’ll be a couple of months before I’m able to create again consistently, so for now, I’ve just been cooking up outlines and trying to write down every single idea that crosses my mind.
