I was at an event in London in March 2016 when Cait was wearing the brown dress with the flowery design. It was an event attended by about fifty of us and was a Q & A and very well moderated.

Afterwards we got to speak to Sam and Cait. She said to one of my friends that the dress was specially designed for her by a friend.

We got our photos with them and autographs. It was all very informal. I’m not going to mention the very strong free cocktails and lovely canapés. And the swag 😉

Wednesday 100: Forward and Back

There are so many things Claire has wanted to forget yet hasn't entirely been able to, so many things that she's needed to box up and shove away so she can possibly continue onward — blank eyes and warm, pouring blood and the bangs and whimpers of death.

She thinks that all of this — the confusion of this rough, insensible place, the Frank who wasn't, the obvious distance from home — will be something to box away too. But as the injured Scot…as Jamie holds her close and tucks her warm, a part of her says, "Remember. You must remember this.”

Jamie pulls her hair free and steals her next breath with a searing kiss. This game is better.
