Been busting my ass on this pile of shit. But I think I've finally made some progress.
I think i have a few injectors that are failing. Ya see, it started to run rough and started throwing a lean code and misfiring. Going down the list, compression/leak down test are in spec. Changed both 02 sensors. Still ran lean. Pcv, throttle body and any other vacuum leaks checked. So we started to think the fuel pump was getting tired. It's a Walbro 255lph. It's almost 10 years old. So I went and bought a Deatschwerks 430lph put that in. Car still ran lean, car would start then shut off. So I got to thinking maybe its the inline fuel pressure regulator. It's a 50psi reg. I decided id get a 65psi reg from Deatschwerks. (Future proof for when i put a k24 or a Ghibli motor in it.) Put that in and the car came alive. Revs to redline and making boost again. So I think there's about a 15psi drop in a few cylinders that the new fuel pump/reg is making up for. It's running a little rich, like 11.9-14.3 afr but that's better than 20.0 like it was š¬
Now this all sounds good in my head but so do the voices š¤£ so idk. I think gotta change injectors which means I have to buy them, then get an new tune.
To bad that's $1000 that I don't have...
