my most autistic trait is constantly having to remind myself that people usually get upset and don't like it when you ask them questions about things they're upset about. in a perfect world, 'answering questions' would be understood as a universal good (gets us closer to complete and total understanding of everything) but instead answering questions is a form of labor and takes time and energy that not everyone has (convincing myself of this voice).
