“Are you?” Hmm. The others sense of humor had become a bit darker, then, since his days of being Aeleus. Just a fact to file away somewhere for now.

He’s uncertain what’s dark about his humor. It was simple teasing, just you chose to do this so face the possible consequences. But since losing his heart, a lot of things twisted and mangled into something he previously perceived as good or bad.

If Lexaeus purposely tries to walk him into a door, he’ll just flop back, and use the other man like monkey bars, and support himself with his legs, until they were free of the obstacle, before swinging back up into a sitting position.

“Don’t look at me like that. With how tall we are, with our heights combined, if I don’t lean forward, my face will smack into any doorway we pass through.”

“I altered my body gravity. You shouldn’t even feel it.” Indeed, he’s ridiculously light in comparison to how he normally is on level ground. Consider it his attempt to make being carted around bearable on the hero’s side.

“Very.” His tone is cheerful, and he leans his arms idly on the others head.

And now, the Freeshooter is seated on Lexaeus's shoulders, with his legs dangling on either side of the others chest.

This is quite minor in comparison to what he thought would come his way. Lexaeus’ lips pressed together, and a shrug rolled off his shoulders. “Fine,” He muttered. Xigbar looked like a twig, to which Lexaeus’ could only guess he weighed as much as one as well.

Luxord’s eyes lit up – an act, of course. That was all it could be. But Luxord chose the expression because it would have been honest, if he’d only had his heart.

He returned the kiss eagerly, his body relishing the strong arm around him, drinking in the contact like a man stumbling into an oasis.

“Thank you,” he said, after a moment.

His stoic nature hid his puzzled thoughts as Luxord thanked him. Why would the blond need to? Lexaeus had only given consent, and the gambler asked him so well-- he was so sincere. If anything, Lexaeus should thank him. There were too many who jumped the gun instead of stopping to ask that one simple question.
