in that way, though I think funtime foxy ends up reflecting william back on himself. William himself has always recognized himself as eccentric, unappealing, strange--- and a little gay (I should say, bisexual) and unable to mask any of that particularly well. he tries, but I think in a way he feels he can notice more than anyone that he is not. the same as 'everyone else' and as much as he'd like to relish in that, he really cant. so here's this character who's whole bit is that he's this loud, boisterous, stereotypically narcissistic "diva" who postures himself as the ringmaster and the center of attention. All of this is laced with a really palpable venom in the narratives written around him. nobody likes him, but they can't get rid of him. I think in the front of his mind, william is calling his son and all of his shitty friends and all of the idols they worship a bunch of attention seeking, vapid queens. but the mannerisms of this character, I think, he very closely referenced off of himself. so. I don't know, this is what happens when you live in utah.
