its crazy how you can repeatedly say "these few specific things terrify me, i have looked into ways to make some money without doing this few specific things, i just need your help with like a few different things and it will be fine" and the only response you ever get is "but you have to do the specific thing. theres no other way"

like yeah i refuse to drive because i dont want to, nevermind the panic attacks and freezing up unable to move at the wheel and needing drugs that make me feel pretty bad just to NOT crash and fucking die in the middle of the road. i refuse to get a job because im lazy and not because ive repeatedly stated exactly what im looking for and asked for help only to be turned down because im not doing it "the right way." i choose to just freeze and want to (or actually!) start crying in public spaces because i saw someone i attended school with. this is all fun for me and i am choosing to ruin my life because i think its fun.

idk why people dont think anxiety is like, disabling. like yeah im sure being terrified to even try to communicate half-way properly with other people, constantly avoiding your responsibilities because youre too afraid to do them, unable to do "basic life skills" because guess what they're too scary, causing problems in your own relationships because youre anxious and terrified of everyone and everything all the time and no matter how hard you try you cant stop just being too afraid to think properly 75% of the time causes NO PROBLEMS AT ALL WHATSOEVER AND SURELY IS NOT DISABLING OR ANYTHING. and then peoples only "advice" is "well have you tried not being scared? have you tried just doing it anyway?"

it kind of sucks to be on meds that you know make you worse in someways but that are also literally unbearable to be off of
