the thought initially came to me after a nagging observation that bb and v's design during the hospital sequence oppose eachother in almost every way to the point it has to be intentional, besides the lore reasons of hiding bibo's identity and such. comparison pic below (didnt find a good hospital v render sadly)

if you squint and imagine as them two opposing sides of feminine (big boss with his very alluring medical gown) and masculine (v's unashamedly bare chest), as such you can assign them roles of eve and adam. another way big boss takes on a feminine role is his snake scar — which isn't admittedly his, but it was a result of childbirth his mentor went through and he then inherited. this is where the strand pulling really begins, because we're playing loose with the canon and it only makes sense if you rearrange the pieces a little (and also boot ocelot and eva and snake being The Serpent from the equation all together).

here's a paragraph from the genesis that caught my attention:

animals, in this case, being the soldiers big boss later recruited and gave them animal codenames (much like adam names the creatures), and eve being created later when no suitable helper was found, after adam fell asleep — in this case, big boss falling into a coma.

but wait, big boss is eve, how does this work then? if we take eve's creation as it is the parallel falls apart and drops dead. but if we assume the opposite, that eve came first and adam was a part of her instead (due to women usually being associated with the creation of life, all human fetuses initially being female etc.), then and only then this parallel will work fully. if we take away their appearance altogether it can still work, flipping their roles and therefore bb being adam and v being eve, because:

solid and liquid snake, who are loosely cain and abel, are both their descendants as clones of big boss (once again, taking eva out, as she is their biological mother, but she mostly acted as a surrogate and didn't philosophically affect them), and a direct continuation of the mankind, the 'big boss species' dynasty so to speak.
