Hey there. You might’ve stumbled upon this by accident, or you happened to look at some of the promos going around by this blog’s mods and decided you wanted to check it out.

So, you’ve found KZTB. This actually stands for “KodzuTab,” and that’s just a mix of Kodzuken (@kodzukens-streams) and Tabsters’ (@tabsters) names. This is because we’re planning to run a series of projects, all of which (currently) are related to Haikyu!!

Roles We Need:

Voice Actors (Main, Side, Backup, Background)

Animators (Storyboard, Keyframes, Tweening, Cleanup, Compositor)

Sound Producers (Editor/organizer, Music player, SFX)

Artists (Thumbnail, Promo, Fanart)

Editors (Promo, Video, Sound, Animation)

LIMITED TIME ONLY: Staff needed! (Patrol, Firewall, Cache, Backend, Pipeline, Interface, all of which are types of mods.)

We hope to make this a safe, fun space for everyone! 

But first… we need staff roles. We’ll link the Google Form if you are to DM this blog. It is NOT first come first serve, and whoever auditions we need those who are responsible, because we want an awesome server, and we can’t run that without organization.

We’ve got our results for the artists, and we’re proud to say all three artists made it into our cast! Congrats!

Artist auditions officially closed on May 25th. We got a few submissions, so shoutout to everyone who applied. We’re currently reviewing them behind the scenes, and will be sending out the information tomorrow on Saturday, May 30th!

Alright folks, our Artist Auditions are closing by tomorrow, so you’ve gotta get your submissions in fast. The submission only takes a few minutes! Here are the questions:

Annnnd we’re back to the daily posts. Yesterday we sent out our first artist auditions, which will be open until the 25th of May.

Just a few reminders! We still have to hit that 25-person goal. Once we get an artist or two locked in, we’ll probably start pushing our first promos on YouTube. We also just need one more person to apply for moderation so we can officially start with our 5 mods.

Artist Applications are up and open for a whole week, and there are four different kinds of artists:

Thumbnail Artists — You make the thumbnail for our videos, any song we might make, the covers of any comics—basically the first thing people see!

Promo Artists — You make the official art of our social media (blogs/channels), including here and YouTube. You make banners, avatars, and sometimes even borders.

Server Artists — You make the official art for our communities, both here and in Discord. Just like promo artists—banners, avatars, and sometimes even borders.

Design Artists — You create the designs, sort of like a brainstorm and a reference for the official artists. Writers (Kodzuken and Tabsters) may come to you detailing what they envision. You bring those words into an image and kickoff the rest of the art!

If you happened to miss this week’s auditions, we’ll open them back up in July in case this one was a bit too sudden.

These artists will be making all the art for our server, icons, promotions, and more. We’re sending these out fairly early because our mod team is going to need their art to help promote the rest of the project.

We know it’s a bit sudden, but we’ll keep these audition forms open for a week. Good luck to everyone!

We’ve got 4/5 people that we strived to gain for our moderation application form (y’all are fast what the heck)! Just one more person and we’ll reach our goal. Once someone fills out our moderation application, I’ll be letting all that were accepted know of their roles and we’ll start on the server. The moderation applications will still be up until June, so don’t worry. We can make the number of people who filled out our form an improper fraction! (stfu why are we using math terms here.)

We got two more people last night, with everyone’s efforts.

Because I know that if we postpone these any longer, people will not be able to start in summer, we’ll keep this up. But we need at least 25 people by the time the moderation applications close!

Meaning, I’ll be linking the form. These will be open until June 1st. That is when I will sort through all the applications and make sure we have at least 25 people interested by then. We’re aiming for about 5 mods as of now as well, diligent and honest.

When filling out the moderation form, don’t worry if there are things you don’t know—we have six types of mods for you, so all who apply have equal chances.

NOTE: All mods must be 13-18 and have Discord (yes, you can use mobile browser if it if needed).

Hey everyone! We know it’s been a bit since we’ve posted; this is because we wanted to give the blog some time without rushing our progress. We have gained a few more people, but to get the server up and running we’ll need 12 more people to follow this blog! If not, we’ll have to try again later on. We want to post this in advance, to let those who have followed know that we may postpone this.

Uh oh! It looks like we haven’t made enough people interested in our projects yet!

This must be fixed…

Or this entire server will crash.

Speaking of, we do need more tech/backend mods; this server is extremely complex to set up, and I’ve been meticulously planning it out for days! If anyone who knows how to work Discord servers is willing to help, we’d be extremely grateful!

ME:

I don’t audition for these roles. The only time I audition is for roles that don’t have anyone suitable, or a role I’m truly confident in myself for!

I also do my best to not cast based on biases, as I want this server to be fair. We do allow help from others, HOWEVER. If you want to be a casting helper, you may not participate in the project you are casting for, or you must give up your casting role.

The entire Discord server is completely tech-themed, along with some volleyball aspects. All channels are named after actual researched tech terms so it doesn’t just look like “Rules,” “General,” “Announcements,” and boring stuff like that. We’ve named those channels “code-syntax,” “sandbox” and “software-updates,” respectively.

Yes, the entire server is set up like that, and also yes, I am setting (aha aha i’m a setter get it? no? okay just me guys… [i’m actually a lib]) these names by researching.
