I think that will be the last of gifts
I would like to thank everyone who participated. This has been a successful event.

Belated Gift for Yummykyman
“It’s simple, you see?” Kyle had no trouble getting past Cartman’s computer lock screen. Think anti-Jew and the answer will come up pretty quickly. “And since fatass never shuts his computer down all the way, this guarantees I can see the minute he starts writing his love letter.”
“Are you putting up a webcam on or something?”
“Better. I am setting up a discreet VPN. I’m just going to connect it to my phone, his computer, and my computer. I’ve got the program down-”
“Dude, what?”
“Just watch.” After opening a command prompt box and typing in a few strings of commands, the computer flashed once and everything went back to looking totally normal.
“What am I supposed to be seeing?” Stan asked, arms crossed. “It just looks like the Tom Brady background he’s had since he got this piece of junk.”
“It’s not a piece of junk, Stan.” Kyle was quick to correct. The computer was built pretty well. While it didn’t have the full specs of a gaming PC, it could run just about any game without too much of a lag. For the price he got it, it really was a steal. Of course, the few modifications Kyle had made over the year did make it run a little better.
“Whatever. Just hurry up. Practice ends in 30 minutes and you know he’s not going to take a shower before coming back.”
“Ugh, you’re right about that.” Kyle typed in a few more things then pulled up a basic word program. “Sit down and start writing something when I leave the room, kay?”
“Kay.” Stan took a seat and waited for Kyle to close the door behind him. He turned his palms up, sighed, and started writing:
I am writing something absolutely-
And at that moment, the cursor on the word program highlighted the words, deleted them, and replaced them with:
I eat dog shit for breakfast.
“What the hell?” Stan tried to type something else, but the control would always switch back over. “Dude! How are you doing that?”
“You make a VPN, you get the computer name, and you remote in.” Kyle explained, walking back into the room with his phone at his side. “I already ran the controls to bypass any sort of permission or alert that anyone is viewing his computer. Even when you put it at the lock screen, I can still access it. You can put the computer back to sleep. Our work here is done.” Triumphantly, Kyle turned to leave. Stan followed suit.
“Why are you so obsessed with this love letter crap anyway? Who cares if Cartman has a crush?”
“He hasn’t been in a relationship since the one with Heidi. Well, unless you count that one with-”
“He did not date Wendy. That didn’t happen.” Stan’s tone indicated he was not playing around on this. It was absolutely not up for debate. While Stan and Wendy had been off and on since grade school, probably even before that, they had their off periods. During one of them, for maybe three days, there was a thing between Cartman and Wendy. No one ever touched that subject. Despite the four being best friends since they could talk, this was a topic that could darken the whole thing. Kenny didn’t even make any innuendos. And that was saying something for Kenny.
“I just don’t want him to do to some other girl what he did to Heidi.”
“You still got a thing for her?”
“Well, no. But it’s the principle.”
“The principle of what? You not wanting Cartman to date? Is this because of his whole ‘I’m going to find a girlfriend before you’ bullshit?”
“It is not! I am not immature, unlike him.”
“Uh huh.”
A matter of forty-five minutes or so passed and Cartman slammed the door behind him, the sound echoing through their college suite like a gunshot. That didn’t mean anything. Cartman just had no sense of manners and didn’t give a shit if someone was trying to concentrate, or sleep, or just generally not want to have a door slammed for no reason.
“Oh hey, fellas!” Butters poked his head into Stan and Kyle’s room. For some reason, Butters’ parents demanded he join the football team. So he did. If Butters ever didn’t do something his parents told him to do, it would probably mean Cthulu was coming back. “Whatcha up to?”
“Broncos.” Stan answered in one word, positioning his chair so he could use Kyle’s desk as a better footrest while he watched the game.
“Oh boy! Are they winning?”
“They’re still singing the national anthem, Butters.”
“Oh, well I just thought…” He trailed off and looked to Kyle. “Are you watching the game too?”
“Not really. I prefer basketball.” He glanced back toward Stan, a look of concern almost evident on his face. “Did they say anything at practice?” He half mouthed half-whispered to Butters when Stan’s attention was back on the game. “I’m going to grab a drink. You want anything?” Kyle asked as an excuse to leave the room.
“Do we still have root beer?”
“I’ll check. You want to come with, Butters?”
“Sure thing, Kyle!” Butters followed quickly, tripping over his own foot. “Whoops.” When they got far enough from the room, Butters leaned over to Kyle. “How is his ACL doing? You think he’s gonna be back before the end of the season? Coach said he was out for sure, but he worked so hard…”
“Yeah, I know.” Kyle sighed. A torn ACL wasn’t something you could just walk off, though. “He is meeting with the sports doctor again tomorrow, but it doesn’t look good. Is the coach still gonna give him his letter?”
“He is. I asked him.”
“At least there’s that.” The season was almost over, but Stan had been out a couple of games. “If he’ll even accept it.”
“Why wouldn’t he?” Butters asked.
“Pride. Something about not deserving it. You know how he gets in his own head about that stuff.”
“Poor guy.”
“Butters!” Cartman’s voice made them both jump.
“Um, yeah, Eric?” Butters turned his attention to his teammate, still clad in sweaty practice clothes. At least the weather was cooler. It made it… less gross.
“Get in here!”
“But me and Kyle were-”
“I don’t care. Just get in here now.”
“Uh, alright.” Butters looked between Cartman and Kyle. Kyle tried to hide the anticipation from his face. Cartman must have written up the confession while the three were idling around. It didn’t break his heart at all when Butters followed. Kyle grabbed a root beer and a bottle of something- he didn’t care what, he had to get back to his computer.
“Catch!” Kyle tossed the can to Stan who caught it like a pro.
“Is the action starting?”
“I’m late!” Kyle’s hands were practically shaking as he pulled open his laptop. So who was it? Which girl was it that had charmed the biggest jerk in South Park? Not that he cared. It didn’t matter. The girl would say no. She had to. But if she doesn’t. If they get together, there’s going to be no chance in hell that we’ll ever… Kyle pulled up the remote session and started prying through the open word document.
Known you since we were in grade school…. something something I know I’ve kind of been a jerk to you, but blah blah blah justification and I think that we should at least talk about it.
“Agh! Who is it?” Kyle slammed a fist on the desk, eventually growing impatient and scrolling through the document. Yeah, Cartman was going to see that something was moving his cursor, but it wasn’t like he was going to put two and two together and figure out he was being watched.
I’m not going to start this email off with something gay like “dear” or something, so you can just shove it. Anyway, I like you.
“Kyle!” Cartman’s voice tore through the suite. Before he had a chance to shut his laptop, Cartman was already knocking him out of his chair. “What the fuck do you think you’re doing?”
“Hey, don’t mess with my computer, fatass!” Kyle took a knee and tried to get up, not used to being caught off guard. Even with the size difference, Kyle almost always had the upper hand in a fight.
“That’s what I should be saying to you, Jew!” Cartman slammed Kyle’s laptop shut and grabbed him by the shoulders, easily pulling him off the ground. Kyle caught his footing pretty quickly and pushed Cartman back. “How long have you been spying on me?”
“I’m not spying on you!” Kyle blocked a punch and threw one in return. “Why would I want to know anything more about you than I have to?”
“You’re a fucking liar, Kyle!” Cartman took the punch, but it didn’t have much of an effect on the adrenaline-boosted pillar of fury. “I just saw it on your computer! You’re reading my private email!”
“Guys, guys, calm down!” Stan would normally have broken the two up by this point, but with his leg jacked up, there was little he could do. Butters stood outside the door panicking.
“That is my private email, Kyle!”
“Oh, like you’ve been keeping anything a secret! You’ve been blathering on about your 'dream girl’ since last month! The whole school knows you’re- oof!” An unexpected fist to the gut cut off the rest of the sentence. Kyle reeled.
“That doesn’t grant you some Jew-God given right to spy! Besides! I was buying time to-” Cartman cut himself off. The hesitation gave Kyle a chance to tackle him to the ground, finally gaining the upper hand.
“To what?”
“Kyle! Stop!” Butters did his best to put himself between Cartman and Kyle. “He was writing that letter to you!”
“Butters!” “What?” The two spat simultaneously. Stan was speechless.
“Is that a joke?” Kyle asked, feeling his cheeks redden.
“Yes!” He shoved Kyle off him. “No! Butters, how could you-”
“Wait, Butters? You knew?” Stan asked.
“You didn’t?” Butters asked in return. Kyle and Cartman sat on the floor trying to gauge the other’s expression.
“I always thought Kyle was going to be the one to confess.” Stan shrugged and sat down, making himself comfortable as he watched the two, trying not to laugh.
“You have a crush on me?” Cartman asked.
“Well, yeah. You’re… Yeah.” Kyle sputtered. “You like me? But you’re always ragging on me.”
“That’s called flirting, dumbass!” Cartman shoved Kyle, but without the previous animosity.
“Well, you suck at flirting.”
“Are you guys gonna kiss now?” Butters asked, excited as could be.
“Butters!” The two shouted in unison, both quickly pulling themselves to their feet.
“I just thought that since…” He trailed off. Or maybe he finished his sentence. Cartman and Kyle were trying to find any sign that the other might be lying.
“Ugh. You stink. Go take a shower and… maybe we can go get coffee or something.” Kyle muttered, turning away.
“Whatever. I’ll shower if I damn well please.” Then after a silence, “Tweek’s Coffee?”
“Yeah. I’ll see you in like, ten minutes.” Kyle agreed, knowing his face was too flushed red to even dare making eye contact with anyone else.
“Sweet.”

Eric Cartman’s Fool Proof Plan to Break Up with Heidi Turner
By: lonegungal17
Eric Cartman wasn’t afraid of many things. Not spiders, not the dark and not ghosts. Okay, maybe that one a little. But there was one thing that scared him most: his girlfriend, Heidi Turner. Part of him knew he had created this monster. She had been a nice person, down right sweet, until he had got his paws on her. He had changed her, she was now an overweight, ugly, mean bully that demanded the dreaded snuggles at all times. He had found it funny at first when she had become more like him, but somewhere along the way she had took it too far. She belittled everyone in their social circle, murdered salient creatures and threated him every time he disagreed with her slightly. He might have been a little bad now and then, but she was worst by a long shot. The last straw had been when she had referred to his mom as a whore. Who did that little bitch even think she was?
It was that exchange that had lead him to the front door of the Broflovski residence with a fool proof plan. He just needed one more person to complete it: Kyle. As much as he hated to admit, the Jew was the only one that could keep him in check, the only one not afraid of his dark side. His biggest rival but also his conscience. If he was going to escape Cartman 2.0, he would need Kyle’s help.
Cartman fiddled with the gift bag in his hand before summoning the courage to knock on the door. The door opened to reveal Kyle’s bitch mom. He had to swallow his pride. ‘Why hello Mrs. Broflovski.’
Sheila frowned down at Cartman, before he could continue, and she turned back towards the living room. ‘Kyle, your little friend is here.’
‘Stan?’
‘No, the fat one,’ Sheila answered, smirking at Cartman before walking away.
Cartman balled his fists at his sides and whispered, ‘Bitch.’
‘What do you want, fatass?’ Kyle appeared at the door, leaning against the frame. His red freshly styled hair hanging loose around his face.
Eric’s eyes locked on the Jew’s hair. ‘Where’s your hat?’ He had to admit, Kyle’s hair looked better than the normal rat’s nest he normally hid under his hat. The new hair cut suited him and his hair looked so soft. Part of him wanted to reach forward and touch it but maybe he’d save that for one of his midnight visits.
‘In the wash. Anything else I can help you with?’
‘You just look so different… kind of weird without it. Cartman pushed the gift at him. ‘I got a present and a proposition for you.’
Kyle narrowed his eyes, taking the bag from Cartman and looking inside. ‘Chanukah isn’t until tomorrow.’
‘It’s not more gold for your collection but I thought you might like it,’ Cartman shrugged.
Kyle held up the MC Deidel Saves the World game, examining it before placing it back in the bag. ‘Thanks, but not interested in bribes.’ He shoved the bag back into Cartman’s hands. ‘Bye, fatass,’ he said, trying to close the door.
Cartman jumped forward blocking the door from closing with his foot. ‘Wait! Surely, even giving you, a Chanukah present buys me at least five minutes of your time.’
Kyle sighed, grabbing the bag from Cartman’s hand again. ‘Fine, five minutes’ he said, releasing the door and nodding his head towards the stairs.
Cartman removed his hat and smoothed down his hair with his hand as he followed Kyle up to his bedroom. Once inside, Kyle motioned for him to sit at his desk while he sat down on the edge of his own bed.
‘Okay, spill what do you want anyway?’
Cartman looked away. Part of him hadn’t believed his plan would even make it this far. Now he felt ashamed of the favor he needed to ask for. ‘I need your help…’
‘What did you do now, Cartman?’
Cartman pinched his eyebrows together. ‘I…’
‘Spit it out, fatass!’
‘I need you to be my boyfriend,’ Cartman stammered.
Kyle stood up from his bed, his face resembling a tomato. ‘What the hell?’
Cartman stood quickly approaching the Jew. Kyle was definitely going to punch him. He grabbed Kyle’s fist before he could swing at his head. ‘Wait, calm down. Just hear me out first.’
Kyle growled as he tried to wrestle his hand away from Cartman. ‘What is this? Are you seriously trying to ask me out? Cause that is a big fat no. Plus, don’t you remember you’re dating Heidi.’
Cartman held Kyle’s strong arms at his sides. ‘Heidi is why I want to pretend to date you. Pretend, just pretend,’ Cartman shouted. ‘It’s literally my only way out, without her killing me.’
Kyle shook his arms away. ‘The fuck are you talking about?’
Cartman picked up his beanie again, squeezing it tightly into a ball. ‘Heidi won’t break up with me,’ he explained, each word coming out broken. ‘I can’t do it anymore. She’s horrible, Kyle. She bullies everyone, including me.’
‘You made her that way, Cartman. She’s your clone. You two were just finishing each other’s sentences earlier today, calling me my mom.’
Carman shook his head, trying not to laugh. ‘No, Kyle she is far worst then me. She won’t let me go. She said the only way she would break up with me was if I was gay or dead.’
Kyle laughed. ‘Carman, seriously?’
Cartman fell to his knees, hugging Kyle’s legs. ‘You’ve seen her. I can barely hold her off in a fight. I have to pretend I still like her to keep her from kicking my ass, that’s the only time she stops.’
‘Dude, get a hold of yourself. She’s a girl, she isn’t going to hurt you.’
‘Really, Kyle? Don’t you remember when Wendy kicked my ass? Heidi is like four Wendys with access to her dad’s power tools,’ Cartman shouted.
Kyle laughed.
‘This isn’t a laughing matter, Jew. She’s dangerous and so mean,’ Cartman whined. ‘She calls me fat, ugly and says my mom is a whore.’
Kyle frowned pulling Cartman to his feet. ‘Come on, dude. Get a hold of yourself.’
Cartman wiped his nose on his sleeve. ‘She really scares me. I’m not brave like you.’
Kyle rolled his eyes. ‘True but why do I need to get involved with you dumping your girlfriend?’
‘She thinks you’re gay, Kyle.’
‘What? I’m not gay,’ Kyle corrected him, his face burning red.’
‘Doesn’t really matter,’ Cartman assured him.
‘I’m not!’ Kyle shouted.
Cartman put his hands on Kyle’s shoulders. ‘Okay, whatever, Jew. You’re as straight as I am. As I said, it doesn’t matter anyway.’ Kyle glared at him as Cartman continued. ‘I just need someone that is believably gay, so Heidi will give up on me and move onto her next prey.’
‘I’m not gay, fatass,’ Kyle reminded him again. ‘Why don’t you ask Tweek or Craig?’
‘Really? They are a couple. Plus, you’ve never had a girlfriend, you look like a hot little twink and we have this excellent love/ hate thing going on. It’s perfect,’ Cartman explained.
‘That’s because I really do hate you,’ Kyle said, deadpanned.
Cartman rolled his eyes to mask the hurt in his voice. ‘Doesn’t manner. I consider you to be my best friend, Kyle, and I trust you the most.’
‘I’m not your best friend, Kenny is.’
‘That poor piece of trash? Nope, never. You’re the one that looks after me and calls me on my bullshit when I need someone to. Kenny only cares about tits,’ Cartman explained sincerely looking the Jew in his green eyes as he let his hands run down Kyle’s arms to his hands. They were sweaty and warm just like his. ‘So please be my boyfriend, Kyle.’
Kyle paused for a moment to bite his lip, before shaking his head. ‘Sorry, fatass. You’ll have to find someone else to lie to your girlfriend with, cause I’m out.’
‘Fine, you damn Jew,’ Cartman threw his hands in the air. ‘I’ll just keep suffering then until she finally kills me. Thanks for nothing, friend!’ Cartman shouted
Kyle crossed his arms over his chest and turned away as Cartman stormed out of his room, slamming Kyle’s bedroom door on his way downstairs.
He couldn’t believe Kyle had let him down. He frowned pouting at the snow in the Broflovski front yard. Maybe the Jew was right, maybe he should have begged Kenny instead. He sighed, knowing Kyle was the only one of his friends smart enough to master the level of manipulation needed for his plan to work. Kenny, Stan or either of the gays wouldn’t work. Cartman glanced up toward the Jew’s bedroom window, wondering if Kyle would ever consider him a real friend. His phone buzzed in his pocket and for a moment he thought Kyle had changed his mind. He was hit with disappointment as he saw Heidi’s name appear scrolled across the screen. His red eyes lowered, and his body shivered at the thought of speaking to her. He couldn’t deal with her right now.
***
Cartman hid behind his open locker door, so far so good. Things were looking up today. He had successfully avoided both Heidi and Kyle on the bus this morning by convincing his mom to drive him to school, with a bonus egg McMuffin on the way. He glanced around him before closing his locker door, if he could make it to homeroom, maybe he could avoid her the rest of the morning.
‘Eric Cartman!’
His body tensed at the sound of his name. He turned to find his girlfriend glaring at him with her hands resting on her hips. Her mid-section was peeking out the bottom of her coat, the buttons holding on for dear life. Had she gained another ten pounds over the weekend?
He shook his head trying to ignore her appearance and concentrated on the floor. ‘Hey…babe.’
‘Don’t hey babe me, Eric, where were you last night? I know you saw my text, I told you to come over, so we could watch TV and snuggle. I called three times and heard nothing back from you. You know better than to ignore my calls and texts.’
Cartman grunted but replied with a whispered, ‘Sorry babe, I was busy.’
Heidi shoved him against the lockers. ‘Are you even listening to me? Relationships are a two-way street, Eric. You make me so angry when you ignore me.’
Cartman rubbed his wounded shoulder. ‘Damn it, I said I was sorry, Heidi. Lay off.’
Heidi smacked him across the face. ‘You never show me any respect. I’m the only one that likes you, Eric. Without me, no one would even talk to such a fat loser like you.’ Heidi pushed Cartman back again, pinning him against the lockers. ‘What were you even doing that was so much more important then spending time with your girlfriend?’
Classmates started to gather around them, Cartman’s tried to wiggle free as he glanced around at all the judging faces. He just had to calm her down, so she wouldn’t kick his ass in front of everyone again. ‘Heidi, babe can we go discuss this in private?’
‘No. Let me guess the train your mom was pulling last night was so big, it blocked the front door?’
Cartman pinched his lips together as he shook with anger as everyone in the hallway broke into laughter. ‘Don’t talk about my mom like that!’
‘Why, everyone already knows she’s a whore?’ Heidi said.
‘He was with me,’ Cartman turned towards the voice in the crowded and was relieved to see the Jew step in front of Heidi.
Heidi loosen her grip on Cartman and sized up Kyle. ‘Eric, if you were desperate for a new mother figure my mom would have baked cookies with you.’
Kyle’s face went red as the crowded chuckled. She really was a bitch. ‘Shut up, Heidi.’
Heidi sneered between Kyle and Cartman. ‘Why would you go to the dumb Jew’s house anyway?’
Cartman sighed and tried to take Heidi’s hand. ‘Babe. I just needed some guy time, Kyle got a new game for Chanukah.
Heidi slapped his hand away. ‘Again? You idiot, you know if you don’t raise your history grade we won’t be able to run for student council next month. What were you thinking?’
Kyle held his hands up. ‘Sorry Heidi, I just needed another player. I didn’t know he should have been studying. It was just a misunderstanding, so maybe we can all just go to class now?’
‘Can it, mom! No one asked you,’ Heidi said, pushing Kyle away before poking Eric in the chest. ‘We have to keep you away from bad influences like that Jew. I know what’s best for you and you are going to start treating me with the respect I deserve or pay the price.’ Her fingers curled into a ball and she held it against his face.
Cartman could hear the other kids whispering words like pussy, wimp, whipped and loser around him as the cold eyes of his girlfriend glared at him. He could feel his skin heating up and his breathing shuddered as he managed the word, ‘Heidi,’ as he closed his eyes ready for impact.
Instead a warm hand pulled him down the row of lockers. His eyes opened following the hand to Kyle’s pale arm.
‘I think you’re the bad influence, Heidi,’ Kyle said, venom on his tongue. Cartman’s eyes widened as his hand was squeezed firmly by Kyle’s. ‘Cartman deserves better than a bitch like you.’
Heidi rolled her eyes with a chuckle. ‘Really? I think he’s fucking lucky to have me. After all, no one else wants him.’
Cartman’s face fell. She was right.
Kyle looked at Cartman, noticing the tears building in the corners of his eyes. ‘You’re wrong,’ he said, leaning over to kiss Cartman on the lips.
Cartman froze. Even when he had come up with his plan, he hadn’t thought beyond holding hands in the school hallway to get Heidi to dump him. Now the Jew was holding his chin with one hand to keep him at the right angle and pressing his surprising soft lips against his. Kyle was kissing him, like really kissing him. It felt good, better than any kiss he’d had before from Heidi. It was electric and exciting. Yet, warm and relaxing. When the Jew pulled away, Cartman could only stare at Kyle as he whispered, ‘Holy shit.’
Kyle looked away nervously. Trying not to focus on Cartman or his shocked classmates.
‘You kissed me.’
‘Yeah, I guess I did,’ Kyle agreed, struggling to look Cartman in the eye.
‘That was so hot,’ Cartman replied, unable to stop looking at Kyle’s lips.
Kyle turned completely red. ‘Any chance you want a boyfriend?’ He asked, shooting Heidi daggers.
Cartman laughed, squeezing the other boy’s hand. ‘Hell yeah.’
Kyle motioned his head down the hallway as he tugged on Cartman’s hand. ‘Let’s go, Eric.’
Heidi grabbed Cartman’s other hand. ‘Where do you think you’re going with this freak?’
‘I’m walking my new boyfriend to class,’ Cartman explained.
Heidi looked like she might explode. ‘You’re gay now? Since when?’
Kyle squeezed his hand again as Cartman answered, ‘Since about two minutes ago.’
Heidi frowned. ‘You leave with him and we’re over, Eric. I will never take you back. I’ll find someone better than you.’
Cartman glanced from Kyle to Heidi. ‘Okay. Good riddance, fatty!’ Their classmates laughed as Heidi took off towards the girl’s bathroom.
When the crowd thinned, Cartman turned to Kyle. ‘Thanks, Jew. That was perfect, she’ll never want to date me again.’
Kyle smiled, dropping their linked hands. ‘I’m glad I could help with your plan,’
Cartman looked down at his empty hand before grabbing Kyle’s shoulders so he couldn’t walk away. ‘Umm… Kyle did you mean any of that?’
Kyle looked around nervously. ‘Maybe… some of it.’ He shrugged.
‘In that case, could we stay together a little longer then? Maybe go on some dates and kiss some more,’ Cartman said, wrapping an arm around his shoulders.
‘I guess there is no extra harm in that,’ Kyle said leaning into Cartman’s shoulder, ‘but you’re coming to Chanukkah dinner tonight on your best behaviour and if you call my mom a bitch we’re over.’
‘Deal. Anything for you, Jew.’

Christmas Morning
(for roseyissouthparktrash)
Merry Christmas, Rosey! I hope you’ve had a great day! You requested something sexy, but since it’s Christmas I couldn’t help but make it a little cute too, pfft! I still hope you enjoy it though!
~x~
Of all the ways Kyle imagined his first holiday season spent with Eric as a couple, the last thing he would have thought – or even wanted – was this: Christmas in Nebraska at Eric’s grandpa’s house. After all, his first visit there as a child hardly inspired him to go back. He had been apprehensive when Eric had first mentioned it, but agreed to go nonetheless. He was starting to regret that decision now, though felt wretched for doing so. Relationships are about compromise, and even though Stan and Kenny were quick to draw worried, well-meaning conclusions, Eric was actually getting good at compromising. In fact, he was mastering a lot of the skills needed to be a good boyfriend.
He had handled Hanukah with Kyle’s family well, although the odds definitely weren’t stacked in his favour. Eric’s relationship with his parents was precarious at best, he had no idea what they were even celebrating, and had in fact mocked Kyle relentlessly during this time of year when they were children. As primary witness to Eric’s bettering of himself and his increasing maturity, Kyle had forgiven him for that. Besides, the soft, earnest words of affection Eric shared with him when they were alone, and every generous, romantic gesture Kyle received were effective salves on those once stinging childhood wounds. Kyle’s parents – his mom in particular – were not so quick to forgive and forget. And yet by the end of the week they were charmed by him, and Kyle could see how committed to the role of polite, doting boyfriend Eric was. He figured spending Christmas with Eric’s family was an appropriate trade-off.
They went straight to Eric’s old house after Hanukah, greeted by a delighted Liane who had thrown her arms around both of them when they arrived. Kyle was making compromises before they had even left town, sitting in the back seat so Liane could sit next to Eric while he drove them to Nebraska. He didn’t mind though, and even joined in with the driving songs this time. Kyle had been briefly fooled that this trip wouldn’t be so bad.
But it became clear that Eric’s family were not exactly thrilled that he had bought his boyfriend along. They were civil enough, Kyle supposed, though he would have liked some eye contact and a smile when they shook his hand. In fact, if they had a problem with him Kyle would have preferred it if they just came out and said it, so he wouldn’t be playing an impossible game of trying to please them. Still, Kyle tried to shrug it off, putting that disheartening feeling down to sensitivity on his part, maybe even defensiveness. That is, until he and Eric discovered they were to sleep in the guest room with twin beds. Eric protested and his mom hastily suggested they switch rooms. Although they had secured a double bed, Kyle still felt it was a hollow victory, one that didn’t further his cause and was a blow to his pride. He still wished he had stood up for himself, not placing the responsibility on Eric and his mom.
More hollow victories were to be won during discussions of politics around the dinner table or in the living room. The political views of Eric’s family were rather different to Kyle’s own, and although he had presented eloquent arguments Kyle didn’t find that usual rush of relief he would feel after having stood up for his beliefs. Steely, resentful eyes across the table pierced him and he would hate how he was partly responsible for feeling so alienated. Because he was an outsider, despite Eric being a unifying presence for them all. Kyle was clinging onto him for dear life amongst his rowdy family.
Although only he, Eric and Liane were staying over, Eric’s aunts and uncles occupied the house from morning to evening, still as loud and obnoxious as Kyle remembered. Eric and Liane were the only people Kyle could have a conversation with without it being strained and stressful, without worrying he would slip up, but even they were preoccupied with catching up with their relatives. Kyle didn’t want to complain, so sat on the sidelines, cradling a drink and trying his hardest not to look completely lost. Sure, Eric would send a reassuring smile, or amusing roll of the eyes Kyle’s way when an aunt or an uncle kept him talking; or he would put a hand on Kyle’s knee during dinner and back Kyle’s point up even if Kyle knew his own political views were more aligned with his relatives. But Kyle wanted more than brief, fortifying gestures of solidarity, and quiet, stolen moments of privacy. He wanted trips to ice rinks, and afternoons spent baking, and long walks in the snow, and cuddling on the couch whilst watching Christmas movies. He wanted all those sweet, mushy things that couples do at Christmas, especially when things were still new between them. They hadn’t had the chance to do any of those things during their first Christmas together. They had spent an evening wrapping presents together in his apartment, bickering and laughing and kissing. It may have seemed like an unremarkable night, but Kyle was yearning for it now.
Kyle had always believed in the importance of family – potential in-laws included. That’s why he wanted so desperately to impress Eric’s family, and was feeling more downtrodden and frustrated every day that it just wasn’t happening. He knew he wanted to go the distance with Eric, to commit to him, to spend the rest of his life with him. They had only been dating eight months, but had known each other their entire lives. Kyle, elated and assured, didn’t have to doubt it was right. He and Eric would create their own family one day, so surely that meant he should cherish and seize any moments where it was just the two of them? Surely those moments were just as important as any other familial obligation? But Kyle had perhaps lost that opportunity now the holiday season was almost over. He was disappointed that he had missed his chance, and he missed Eric too. They could be in the same room, be lying next to each other in bed, and Kyle would still ache for him.
It was Christmas morning, and Kyle had woken up to the sound of doors being slammed, raised, excited voices, and ‘merry Christmas!’ being thrown around like confetti downstairs. It exhausted him already, and right now staying in bed and being a Grinch seemed like the preferable option. But then a thick, warm arm wrapped around his waist and squeezed. He smiled despite himself.
“Kyle?” Eric whispered, his lips brushing behind Kyle’s ear. “Are you awake?”
He nodded, pulling at the duvet as he turned around to face Eric. His irritation upon waking melted under the warmth of Eric’s lazy smile and bright eyes, that sparkle Kyle remembered from childhood. When Eric would chatter about some brilliant new scheme, or brag about a shiny, new toy, that sparkle was always there.
“Merry Christmas,” he said.
“Merry Christmas,” Kyle replied, before closing the gap between them with a kiss.
Eric readily responded, lips parting to capture Kyle’s mouth and their tongues soon met. Kyle gasped when Eric’s cool fingers slipped under his shirt and met his skin, warm from being under the covers. He hooked his leg around Eric’s waist and dared to draw him closer. After days of deprivation, of swift, chaste kisses, Kyle felt like a rebounding addict who had no clue how to pace themselves. He had no idea how much he would miss digging his fingers into Eric’s soft skin, being braced in his strong arms, or hearing the honeyed, passionate noises that dripped from his lips and that Kyle could almost taste on his own. He knew that he should pull away, get out of bed, and greet everyone downstairs. But when he was in Eric’s arms, with his lips right in front of him, and their tiny gasps and whimpers were floating around the room and engulfing his senses, Kyle couldn’t find it in himself to relinquish this.
They hadn’t had sex since Hanukah and even then they had to be mindful of how much noise they were making, with Ike’s room on one side of the wall and Kyle’s parents on the other. It wasn’t as if Kyle was constantly horny, or that he needed to fuck Eric twice a day, but he liked knowing that mornings such as these could lead anywhere. Kyle knew he could get stuck in his head, in other people’s business, but when he made love to Eric he completely abandoned his thoughts. Especially during the beginning of their relationship, when everyone thought he was crazy to be dating Eric in the first place. Eric’s touch was liberating, putting to rest all of Kyle’s doubts and worries. He wished that was possible now, but he could still hear everyone downstairs. They had to think twice now, about awkward, red-faced encounters and mortifying intrusions. They had to be considerate.
“We should probably go downstairs,” Kyle said when he pulled away. “Everybody will be expecting us.”
Eric’s lips were glistening, and his lidded eyes were drawn to Kyle’s mouth. They were breathing in unison, exchanging thin, ragged breaths.
“Kyle, there’s like ten of them down there, all tipsy on my grandad’s eggnog, and wanting to get their hands on all those presents under the tree,” he replied. “They probably haven’t noticed we’re still up here.”
Kyle smiled, seizing any excuse. He didn’t want to argue with Eric, he just wanted to kiss him again. He pressed their lips together once more and Eric didn’t miss a beat, tongue sliding into Kyle’s mouth. Kyle, meanwhile, slid his hand below the covers, grasping Eric’s shirt. He jolted when Eric’s hand travelled up his thigh. The pressure he applied was firm and commanding, but his teasing fingers were indecisive. He stroked Kyle’s leg, toying between running his fingers down Kyle’s groin to reach his crotch or to grope at his ass. Kyle wanted to demand him to make up his mind, but decided if Eric could tease then so could he. He pulled away from Eric’s lips.
“Don’t you wanna open your presents too?” Kyle asked, praying that Eric would say no.
Eric didn’t give it a second thought, cupping Kyle’s ass.
“It can wait. Besides…” Everything paused. Kyle pulled away again so he could look into Eric’s eyes. “It feels like we haven’t had much alone time together. It sounds stupid because I’ve seen you everyday but I really miss you. I miss this.” Their noses brushed together. “I miss it being just the two of us.”
Kyle sighed, both relieved that he wasn’t the only one who felt this way, and disappointed that Eric had been discontent all this time. He had been persevering to ensure Eric was happy, after all.
“I’ve missed that too,” he replied, stroking Eric’s hair and pressing their foreheads together. “I thought it was just me. I know we have all year to spend together, but Christmas is special, you know?”
Eric blinked. There was a crease in his brow.
“It is?”
“Of course it is! Come on, it’s not just a holiday.” Kyle then softened his voice and lowered his eyes. “It means so much to you. I wanted it to be special.”
“It has been special. You’ve actually made Christmas with my family tolerable.”
Kyle snickered, and shook his head.
“I’ve really been trying,” he said, squeezing Eric’s arm.
“I know you have.”
“And I feel selfish for complaining-”
“It’s not selfish, it’s sweet,” Eric interjected, grinning. “Who would ever have thought you’d miss my company so much?”
“I know,” Kyle teased. “It’s a shock to me too.”
Eric laughed under his breath and smacked Kyle’s ass. Kyle’s own grin faded when Eric raked his gaze over him, still stroking him. Kyle wanted to know what he was contemplating with those hazy, hungry eyes.
“So what’s it gonna be?” Eric asked. “Are we doing this?”
Before Kyle could answer, Eric pulled him close enough that he could feel his erection through his boxers. Kyle nodded, smashing their lips together so hard that white, crackling stars littered his vision. He pulled Eric on top of him, one hand tugging his hair while the other clutched his shirt. If it wasn’t their deep, hard kiss and grappling tongues making Kyle dizzy, it was Eric grinding his hips on top of him. Kyle writhed and jerked at the cotton friction, deliriously content that Eric was on top of him again. Kyle never thought he would submit to Eric, give himself entirely to his thrall, but the ache of his trembling legs spread wide and the burning, flushed mess he made of his lips was all worth it. Eric’s hands had reached Kyle’s hips and he tugged at his boxers. He sat up to take them off, snatching them from Kyle’s ankles and throwing them on the floor. A sudden, sharp exhilaration stole Kyle’s breath as he watched Eric admire him- pinked, panting and with an obvious bulge in his underwear.
“Shit, did you bring lube?” he asked.
Kyle nodded, mind still hazy and unable to reach his voice.
“Yeah… ” he eventually replied, though the word was wobbly. “It’s in my suitcase.”
A different kind of admiration lit up Eric’s face then, endeared rather than aroused. He snickered, leaning down to peck Kyle’s lips.
“Its shit like this that makes me love how fucking organised you are.” He grinned, kissing Kyle again.
“It was optimism that made me pack it more than anything else.” Kyle smiled, before giving him a nudge. “Just hurry.”
Eric got out of bed and crossed the room to where the suitcase was. While he searched, Kyle sat up and took off his shirt with shaky, impatient hands. He threw back the covers some more and crawled to the edge of the bed, sitting on his knees with his eyes trained on Eric. He felt like he could cum just from the anticipation of it all.
“Found it?” he asked.
“Yeah, I-” Eric stopped when he turned around and saw Kyle, his mouth agape and eyes roaming over him. He grinned and made his way over the bed slowly. “Damn, you really are eager.”
Kyle nodded and reached out, wrapping his fingers around Eric’s wrist and tugging him forward. He sat up to kiss him, hands finding the hem of Eric’s t-shirt. He lifted his arms compliantly when Kyle pulled it over his head. He clutched Eric’s love handles and kissed down his wide chest, to his soft, round belly, until he reached the waistband of his boxers. He pulled those down and when they pooled at his ankles Eric stepped out of them without protest. Kyle hardly had time to admire Eric naked before he was being shoved onto the mattress and pinned there. The bottle of lube was discarded beside him, tempting and cruel when Eric had a tight grip on Kyle’s wrists. Their lips met, kisses wet, hot, and staccato when they were interspersed with glistening, torrid gasps and urgent, strained moans. Kyle lifted his hips to meet Eric’s enthusiastic thrusts, not exactly dry-humping when both their cocks were slick with pre-cum already. Eric couldn’t resist running his hands all over Kyle so released his wrists, letting Kyle’s hands roam Eric’s writhing back also. He tugged at Kyle’s bottom lip with his teeth before burying his face in Kyle’s neck, nipping and suckling at him there. Although he was covered in Eric, drowning in his scent, and his moans were ringing in his ears, Kyle still wanted more. He wanted to be connected to him, wanted to be filled with him. For just once this week he wanted Eric all to himself.
“I need you…” he moaned.
Eric nodded, blindly grabbing for the bottle of lube and sitting up. He lifted Kyle’s legs and spread them, and even though this wasn’t the first time Kyle had been so exposed in front of him that nerve-wracking, delightful exhilaration caught once more in his throat. Eric applied a generous amount of lube to his index and middle fingers and Kyle was shaking as he watched Eric lower his hand. He gasped and clutched the sheets beneath him when Eric slid his fingers in his opening, involuntarily tightening around him. Silent and undeterred, Eric continued, fingering him in slow, shallow movements. Kyle gently threw his head back, his breathing still laboured but accompanied with whimpers and moans of undeniable pleasure, especially the deeper Eric’s fingers pushed, and he welcomed his increasing speed. Kyle wished he could keep his searing eyes open to savour how flushed, hungry, and hard Eric was. His darkened, golden eyes were fixed on him, colour crawling up his chest.
“Kyle… I can’t wait any longer… are you ready?”
Kyle nodded, and couldn’t help but smile at Eric’s delighted grin. He whined, however, when Eric pulled his fingers out of him. He then lifted Kyle’s legs higher so his knees were almost pressing against his shoulders. Kyle sat up and reached out for the nape of Eric’s neck, pulling them closer so their lips would meet. They tongued at each other’s lips as Eric pushed his cock inside Kyle’s opening. Kyle gasped, throwing his head back to cry out but managing somehow to stop himself. Relieved, overwhelmed tears sprang to his eyes instead, and Eric’s own groans and cries were muffled against his neck as Eric planted sloppy kisses there. Kyle clawed his fingers into Eric’s back as he fucked him slowly at first, teasing him like always and yet giving him what he wanted – letting him savour this perfect intertwinement.
“Like that?” Eric murmured, hot and breathless.
Kyle nodded, but knew they had to be quick. Despite cherishing this intimate moment, he wanted quick and rough. He wanted to lie next to Eric afterwards and feel all the stress of this week run off his trembling, slick body.
“Go faster… please…”
When it came to sex, Eric always obeyed Kyle’s pleads and wants without question. He picked up his pace so suddenly that Kyle cried out before he could stop it, and he almost did it again when Eric reached between their bodies to jerk him off. His hand flew over Kyle’s dick in a sweaty blur, and Kyle arched into the touch. With Eric’s hand wrapped around his red, swollen cock, his lips planting quivering kisses and groans that tremored in his throat, and his cock buried deep inside him, Kyle truly felt captured by Eric. And although he was gasping for sizzling, sultry air and his heart was hammering into his chest and begging for release, Kyle would rather die than be set free, for this to stop. He knew Eric was leading him to ecstatic, blissful relief, he needn’t bolt.
The springs of the mattress squeaked beneath them, and the headboard thudded against the wall, but Kyle and Eric were careful to keep their panting breaths, groans, and short, pleading cries quiet. Those tender noises were enamoured, tantalising secrets just for them. Kyle still had a fistful of Eric’s drenched hair, and he tugged at it so their lips would collide once more. Molten and crushed in a strong, deep kiss.
“I love you…” Eric groaned against Kyle’s lips.
Kyle nodded. “I love you too…”
Eric struggled to kiss Kyle as he neared his orgasm, eyes squeezed shut, and he was gasping and moaning into Kyle’s mouth. He thrust harder, fucking Kyle into the mattress when he came heavily. His parted lips were pressed against Kyle’s cheek when he cried out. Determined not to leave Kyle behind, he pumped his cock faster as he rode out his orgasm. He pressed his glistening, creased forehead to Kyle’s own, coaxing him to orgasm with dilated pupils. Kyle was beginning to ache from the weight of the pleasure he had been denied. It travelled up his balls and drew them tight. His cock was already strained and dribbling with pre-cum. He was hurtling towards a startling, powerful climax and he could hardly breathe as he tried to brace himself for it.
“Eric, Eric!” Kyle cried. “Aaah!”
Kyle threw his head back and raised his hips when he came. Cum landed on his glistening chest and spilled into Eric’s hand. They tried to catch their breaths, and Kyle moaned when he realised Eric was still shallowly thrusting into him. He soon pulled out and Kyle winced, opening his eyes and seeing Eric’s satisfied, wicked smile above him. The mattress shook underneath Kyle as Eric flopped down beside him, his sensitive cock twitching when he saw Eric lick the cum away from his fingers. Kyle felt his eyelids droop as he stared up at the ceiling, his swimming mind conjuring piercing, iridescent patterns in his vision. He didn’t realise Eric had rummaged around the nightstand until a box of tissues was offered to him. Kyle took them, cleaning himself off. He placed his used tissue on the nightstand and sank into Eric’s embrace. They laughed softly to themselves as they cuddled, both quivering and hot with sweat.
“Thank you,” Kyle murmured, nuzzling Eric’s chest. “I really needed that.”
“We both did.”
When Eric placed a kiss in Kyle’s curls it was like the spell needed to return him to slumber. But Kyle heard mumbling, and footsteps coming down the hallway. A knock at the door made them jolt, and made Kyle’s heart deflate.
“Are you two awake in there?” Eric’s granddad asked.
“I made breakfast for everybody, poopsikins!”
“Come and open your presents!” Eric’s aunt chimed in.
“We’ll be down in a minute!” Eric replied.
“Are you sure, poopsikins? It’s gonna go cold!”
“Everybody else has opened theirs!”
Kyle heard Eric huff, his chest rising and falling beneath his head.
“Jesus Christ, can’t I cuddle my boyfriend for two God damn seconds in this house?!” he snapped.
Silence, and Kyle didn’t care how awkward it was when they were in each other’s arms. He nuzzled Eric’s chest again and buried his grin there.
“Language, Eric!” his granddad finally replied.
“Just come down when you’re ready!” his mom added.
They both listened intently to the stunned footsteps down the hall, and collapsed into mischievous chuckles. In years to come Kyle knew this moment may seem insignificant and childish, but it was yet another reminder that he and Eric would make a great team. Devoted and united, even against pesky relatives.
“You shouldn’t really blaspheme on Christmas,” Kyle pointed out. He couldn’t help but smirk.
Eric rolled his eyes.
“What the hell do you know, Jew?” he replied, before pressing his lips to Kyle’s again.
