Bailee & Kyle | I missed you
Bailee had been walking down the hall, a folder in her hands as she looked over it, reading the short details about one of the Inhumans, someone she could potentially be mentoring, before she heard Kyle’s voice from down the hall. Her head lifted and met his eyes in a glance. She had heard the rumors that he was back, seeing that gossip travelled much too quickly for its own good around these parts, but she didn’t know whether to believe it to be true. When he approached her with the gleam in his eye, Bailee’s heart stopped and she felt like she was dreaming. The moment was surreal when he grabbed her and pushed her against the wall, and she was left utterly speechless, kissing him back, letting her file fall out of her hands to quickly wrap around his neck and pull him closer to her. “Kyle—” She whispered with her heavy breath, lingering in every second of the moment, still unsure if this was a dream or not. “I knew you’d be back.”
“I couldn’t leave my best girl behind now could I?” he muttered against her lips. Kyle had experienced a lot in his youth but the mind control had been the worst thing so far. It had turned him into a murderer and he was terrified of himself and half out of his mind with guilt. Adding the guilt of kissing Bailee without having talked to Clara for weeks didn’t compare to what he was already feeling. His hand trailed the curves of hers neck as his his lips moved over her skin. “I missed you.”
