Edward Midford Headcanons
I have no real requests and I’ve loved Edward from the moment I saw him so I’m posting these and no one can stop me !(•̀ᴗ•́)و ̑̑
His relationship with hsi S/O was an arranged marriage since his S/O was also a noble. They didn’t mind though as that’s how things were, but during their first meeting it was like love at first sights, and they had already thought highly of each other before
Edward would totally gush over his S/O to his classmates and friends. She was the perfect lady for him and he kept talking about how she was, getting proud and cocky because of the envious glares he got (though he got super shy and embarrased when Cheslock asked him,,, specific questions. Edward kept scolding him with a flushed face afterwards “shE’S TOO PURE FOR THAT HOW DARE YOU!!?!!”)
He’s super excited whenhis S/O came to see him on the 4th of July, spinning them around in a hug as soon as he say them. He would not even lowkey show off about his amazing and gorgeous S/O. He would ask her dance during the ball and would introduce her to Herman and everyone else.
His S/O would be cheering him on during the green house matches, making him even more determined to win the match for them, as well as make him more confident knowing that his S/O was watching and cheering him on (albeit quite flustered)(alkso he’d totally use this chance to show off to her as well as the others bc do they have a cute and perfect person cheering for them?? no, they don’t)
Very chivalrous with his S/O and treats them like literally the most fragile thing on this Earth
Super protective of his S/O, as much he is with Elizabeth. Though his family would be protective of his S/O as well
That beng said, his family totally adores his S/O, They think that they’re absolutely perfect for Edward, and they would easily be accepted into the family. His S/O would also get on well with Ciel, apologising for Edward’s behaviour
If his S/O had come on the Campania with him and his family, they would have spent a lot of time alone together having tea, or walking around the outer decks together I can also see them doing the titanic thing
When the dolls had begun to attack everyone on board the ship, his first priorities were Elizabeth and his S/O and getting them to safety no matter what, and would hold his S/O close as well as Elizabeth
In general Edward and his S/O would spend a lot of time together at the Midford estate, holding hands as they take walks arounf the mansion or the gardens
Would literally die and go to heaven when his S/O would give him a soft peck on the cheek like he is just so happy and estatic and would nervously return the gesture (sometimes he’ll even be the first one to kiss his S/O)
When they first kissed, Edwrad nervously asked for permission before initiating it, again, very nervously
