" — oh right ! " he suddenly chimes , attempting to salvage the situation before grimmjow even has the chance to consider the strawberry may have overlooked this gesture.
" i have it in a hidden spot , turn around and i'll grab it for you. " a lie. he stands up and physically adjusts grimmjow to face the wall, mainaining his gaze on the back of his blue haired head to make sure he didn't try and peek. a few moments later he rummages through his desk , desperately searching for something , anything!!
brown eyes widen after opening the third drawer , a small heart shaped box with a red ribbon lay there , stuffed towards the back. a nervous grin grows across his face as he takes a second to think back . . when exactly did he receive this and from who ? . . . who . . oh right! — it was a couple years back , during his last year of high school. a young girl he had never met brought them to him , explaining they were a gift from a secret admirer.
having not been interested , ichigo probably tossed them into the drawer meaning to snack on them from time to time. it seems they slipped his memory. lucky for him , however , can the same be said for grimmjows stomach ? would something like this even bother the arrancar ? with a deep breath he fixed up a few of the dented and creased areas of the box and turned around holding the heart in both hands.
" okay grimmjow , you can turn around now. here's the chocolate. "
