The surge of fadime haters since the last episode came out is kinda getting on my nerves atp because im sure same people defend iso and oruç and are willing to fight for their ships but God forbid fadime's character seem realistic in this essay i will!!
I want to start with the scene at the grave and Fadime blaming Esme, was it undeserved? Completely. But for Fadime, Adil's pain comes before everyone else's.
He's raised her (and has done a great job at it) and she literally worships him and from time and time again we've seen it (for example, when the Furtunas come to ask for Fadime's hand and Adil asks for her opinion, one of the things she says is that she wants someone who could match her brother's bravery!!).
To Fadime, Esme is no one but the woman who broke her brother's heart and got married to their father's killer AND shot Adil (one of Esme's recent offenses in Fadime's eyes). She's seen her brother hurt for years, and he's still not moved on and by shooting Adil she almost took away Fadime's only living family member so ofc she won't be able to sympathise with Esme like us viewers because we get to see the pain Esme has endured. Or like Gezep who's old enough to remember everything that went down 20 years ago (Fadime was probably a baby back then) and is capable of having a far better understanding of Esme's pain.
I honestly love LOVE Fadime, she's such a great character even with limited screen time regardless of her devotion towards her brother, she's her own person and we don't really get to see this in dizis!!!!! Moving on, I cannot wait for Fadime to develop a bond with Esme because I know it'll be such a delight to watch.
