Ok not sure how popular is this theory on tumblr but bodyswapping Daniel to Alex would ruin DM cuz he would no longer be Armand's fledgling cuz Alex was turned by Lestat or Gabriella. And if we say ok what if somehow Armand turned Alex. Ok then Armand turned someone who is not Daniel and its ruined again. imo the only way to have younger actor play Daniel is deaging and bringing back LBF which i am not a fan of but would be willing to accept if its executed well but any bodyswap just ruins their bond :/. Also Alex doesnt even have violet eyes in the other promo pic??? Its most likely lighting that makes them look violet in the second pic
