- Dear Kim, You may never see this but Iām going to put this out there anyway. I have loved you from 2008 - My Girl is what taught me Tagalog. Being in Australia I wasnāt really exposed to Filipino culture so I have you to thank for knowing most, if not all, of my native tongue. Medyo slang nga lang pero keri na ;)Ā Iāve always loved your Chinita features - one of the prettiest in the biz. But more than that, cliche na kung cliche, Iāve always loved your personality. Itās why youāre still in demand and visible today. Your work ethic, your politness, your bubbliness, your positivity.. everything is always so pleasant.Ā You have remained the same. Sa nakikita ko naman, the same pa rin si Chinita Cutie sa Chinita Princess ngayon. Sheās still so kind to everyone, lalo na sa fans. Sheās still thankful to her family and lalo na kay God - she has not forgotten her roots. Sheās still humble. If youāve changed, itās your fighting spirit thatās changed. Not that sweet personality. When an intrigue comes your way you face it head on. Noon, you let people step on you, you let people dictate you... and now youāve learnt to use your voice and fight back - but even when you do so, you do it so politely. I enjoy this fiesty Kim because I knew she had it in her all along. Mataray? Bitchy? Hahaha jusko, so far from it. Youāve just learnt to stick up for yourself. I read your Twitter responses to haters and I listen to your answers in press conferences... if thereās anything fiesty being said napaka gentle pa rin ng tone mo and mayĀ āpoā pa rin sa dulo. Continue mo lang yan Kim. Your true Ā fans have your back and will never drop your name or you.Ā Sasabihin ko ngayon, KimXi ako. Used to be a Kimerald actually. No regrets naman kasi Iāve met so many people from that fanclub - some are still my friends, one is even my lover (thanks nga pala ha!), and Iāve also gathered many fun and not so fun fangirl stories. Haha! Iāve learnt my lessons! But yun nga, I am a Kim-Xian fan and a forever Kim fan (donāt worry, mamahalin ko din si Xian kahit ano pa mangyari sa inyo, you have my word .. paka bait kasi) ;) I want to thank you for the love you give your fans. Some may not see it, but I do. Iām not saying this because Iām a KimXi fan, sinasabi ko to as an observer of Filipino showbiz. Not every celebrity is going to sign 100 magazines or CDs and sit and chat with you kahit pagod na pagod na sila, not every celebrity is willing to say thank you so openly on social media and even on television, not every celebrity is going to make you feel like a friendĀ more than a fan..Ā For the person saying you donāt treat your fans equally, aaminin ko nakikita ko naman minsan na mas open ka sa KimXi fans and solid fans but never have I ever felt a DISLIKE or UNDER APPRECIATION for the Kimerald fans. If there is such a case, siguro they should ask themselves why noh? Sasabihin nila malaki ang ulo ni Xian, bakla si Xian, user si Xian - someone who happens to be a big part of your life at the moment - tapos tatanugin nila why medyo iba ang treatment mo sa kanila? Nakakatawa lang. I doĀ appreciate their support sa projects mo with Xian and the charity work they do - honestly, hanga ako sa kanila pag ganun ang nasa usapan. But gees bruh, when they do support your projects with Xian may kasamang negative comment or tweets for your leading man. Package deal lang? Pwede naman di banggitin pangalan ng tao diba? Hahahahahahahahahaha sus ginoo! Anyway, the point of this letter was to tell you how amazing you are as a woman. MULAN NA MULAN! ;) GO FIGHT WIN! True fans will love you despite your baggage or decisions. True fans will stick by you, no complaints. My philosophy is we shouldnāt expect anything back as fans. We give you love and support because we want to. We give you love and support because you make us happy. We donāt expect anything back. Pero being Kim Chiu, you always give us something back kahit di naman expected and for that we thank you so much. Your cast mates, directors, staff members... no complaints ever pag dating sa iyo. Kaya blessed na blessed eh.. always kind to everyone. Dami mo na pinagdaanan, both personally and in your work life... and you surpassed all of it. Ā Di ka nagbago Kim, your fighting spirit did.Ā We got your back... Sabi nga ni Xian, keep shining (yieeeeheee!) Love you ateng! Nandito lang kami!Ā
