At first, it felt like their characters were pretty distinct from their real persona. After all, the characters feel attracted to men, but the actors are supposedly straight. It made the viewers feel like they were witnessing two distinct romances happening. I read someone (sorry I can't remember who) that said it felt like Fang Chi and Gao Zhun were the second couple of this series.

However, the more they play together, the more it feels like who they are and who they act as is getting blurred. What's the difference between fiction and reality when you start to experience attraction too in reality? In the last two episodes, it felt to me as if Fang Chi and Gao Zhun became some kind of personas where Zhen Xin and Zhang Zhun can let themselves experience and act upon this dangerous attraction they had first started to create to be able to play their characters.

They can pretend it's method acting and nothing is true, but they sometimes tend to forget who is who. Is Zhen Xin attracted to Zhang Zhun or does he see him as Gao Zhun. Is Zhang Zhun feeling something for Doctor Fang Chi or for Zhen Xin? I guess the fact they can't distinguish anymore what they feel will make them do everything to either act upon it outside of the movie set or to hold on to what their life was before meeting each other and playing those characters.
