wishing for a childhood summer when life slows down to a standstill and i have all the time in the world to read and stare off into space

only when i'm clinging onto Christ am i the strongest version of myself.

It is not wise to reject the parts of the Bible that are convicting and only listen to words of comfort and encouragement. Those things are good, but the Bible is supposed to break us down and refine us, shape us into true Christ followers and show us the errors in our ways as well as build us up. There is joy in following the commands of The Lord and letting Him mold you.

i’m such a "look at the sky", "look at the moon", "look at the stars", "look at the sunset", "let's sit here to listen to the rest of the song" type of person.
