āEverything we do, every thought weāve ever had, is produced by the human brain. But exactly how it operates remains one of the biggest unsolved mysteries, and it seems the more we probe its secrets, the more surprises we find.ā - Neil deGrasse Tyson

The Dreamy Watercolour & Pen Paintings of Sunga Park ( parksunga )
Sunga Park is a Korean artist, graphic designer and freelance illustrator who is based in Bangkok. Many of her illustrations have been included in magazines. She is currently visiting Europe painting watercolours and sketching the architecture. She is a self-taught artist who enjoys the āunpredictableā nature of watercolours to show natural aspects of the environment. She states in a recent interview āWatercolours taught me about life, because I created tons of failures over repeated attempts.ā Much of her work is inspired by the architecture of the places she has travelled, from India to Europe, every place she visits seeps into her work and allows her to develop her style. She states in a recent interview with Japan Cinema, āI always focus on showing my feelings through the common architectural features. When people look at an oriental painting their ideas can float along with the objects in the piece. I intend to attract the participation of viewers in this way. For me, art is completed by peopleās imagination or appreciation.ā

Peeling Off Old Paint To Tell Stories Of Palestinian Refugees by street artist Pejac
With these four small interventions I am trying to tell a minimalistic story about the Palestinian refugees in Al Hussein, Amman Jordan.
By removing small areas of the āskinā of the houses I want to transform the paint chipping, produced by the passage of time, in to evocative landscapes and transmit the pride of its inhabitants through the walls.
Al-Hussein refugee camp was originally stablished in 1948 as a result of the Arab-Israeli war.Ā Source:boredpanda and streetartnews
Pangeaseed x Sea Walls Murals for Oceans: New Zealand.
Pangeaseedās Sea Walls: Murals for Oceans recently concluded its inaugural mural festival in Napier, New Zealand. Ā This international collaboration of concerned organizations such as sponsors Napier City Council, Resene, Alternative Arts InitiativeĀ and artists took place from March 10-21, 2016 and creatively beautified the surrounding area of Napier while bringing awareness, collaboration, and inspiration to the community.
Within the span of five days, 28 large-scale, thought-provoking public murals were realized throughout the Ahuriri and Napier area. Each piece sheds light on New Zealandās pressing marine environmental issues such as shark finning, overfishing, coastal development, climate change, and endangered marine life conservation, furthering PangeaSeed Foundationās ARTivism (Art + Activism) initiative.
Please continue below to learn about the murals and their meanings.
