Bike for Sale! Somebody make me an offer (sensible ones, please).

Long time servant on the MTB trails but more recently reduced to lugging children around this bike has now become surplus to requirements (new build project imminent) and is looking for a new home. Still in good working order.

Thursday Night Bridge Club. A plan based on three simple principles; bicycles, a bridge and some beers. Oh....and a long sunny midsummer's day.

3 x groups, of varying pace, set out from Cadence Bikeshop in Bath for a evening blast to the Severn Bridge (the Welsh side) and back. Everybody got back with a broad grin on their face and fatigued legs, so I'd say mission accomplished.

I say everybody. One rider, he shall remain nameless, missed the start time and so set off on his own little odyssey trying to catch up with one of the groups. Sadly, he wasn't sure which bridge we were riding to so he rode to both and saw none of the groups until he got back to the pub. It made the beer oh so sweeter, I'm sure.

The inaugural Thursday Night Bridge Club will take place on 2nd July 2015.

Depart 1815 from outside of Cadence Bikeshop, Bath. A 90km evening ride to t'other side of the Severn Bridge and back. Beers and banter at the end. Expect an up tempo pace of approx. 17-18mph (may add another group at 15-16mph should there be someone to lead it!).

Route will be published next week but expect an outward journey via Bitton/Kelston/Warmley/Bike Path > Severn Bridge and much the same on the return leg.
