not to be that guy, but um, did you get like permission from the original artist to collage all her ocs? @kankuroplease is super active here on tumblr and idk, this kinda gives off a weird vibe if you didn't get explicit permission to run this fan page and repost/edit her art like this...
and like i totally get wanting to give her more traction, cause she's an amazing artist and has some amazing ocs, but simply relogging her existing artworks would have been enough.
Like what's your intention here? It's just a little weird I guess since her blog is active and post almost daily
I'm not trying to offend, just trying to understand, cause your blog has no signs its been approved by the original artist who's an active member of our community so from the outside looking in, this looks like theft, and or worse trying to gain traction off someone else's art and hard work - if your intentions are really just love of the ocs and art i get it, kpz is awesome, just idk, might be worth making sure she's okay with all of this if you haven't and having that as a pinned post, cause rn the vibes are kinda fishy
Hey there, I definitely asked for permission to post these collages and she told me she was fine with it as long as I’d credit her. This blog is in no way trying to steal the attention or anything like that and the only reason why I’m posting all these character profiles is for interested people who aren’t familiar with this great au to get a quick overview on every character under the hashtag characterprofile. My main intention for this blog is to actually write one shots based on her hcs etc once I’ve introduced the characters. If she disapproves of me doing any of this I’d of course take the posts down, since I don’t want to be disrespectful or leech off of her art. I’ve been supporting her blog and coming up with a few ideas for her au since around 2021 and recently I just thought to myself why not just dedicate a blog to share all these fun little stories I come up with, instead of keeping it all to myself.
So long story short, I did get her approval to post these, my main goal is to share short stories for this au whenever I get the chance and also no offense taken. I really appreciate you looking out for artists out here. :)
Im also working on a Master Post in which I’ll make everything clear so there’ll hopefully be no room for misunderstandings or unnecessary negativity.
Ps if you have any suggestions on how I can be more mindful about this topic, feel free to share those with me, since I genuinely mean no harm and just want to enjoy exploring this awesome au in even more depth
