(death tw) a kind reminder: there is not expiration date on grieving and being sad. please do not say or imply to people who are still openly sharing their sadness about losing jonghyun that they need to “get over it” or “move on already”. it’s only been two months. jonghyun meant the world to so many of us. he was a lifeline, a source of happiness, and not having him here with us anymore is something that will take a long time for many to get used to. some will never get used to it. some will always been upset when thinking about the loss and that’s completely okay because, as said: there is no expiration date on grieving and sadness. in making comments like this you are not only policing the emotions of others but you are putting a stain on fandom. each of us is unique in how we’re dealing with this. we’re one fandom but we’re not a hive mind. we need to be kind to one another, but we also need to take care of ourselves so if you feel like the “negativity” is getting in your way, you need to do what is best for you and not make others feel like what they’re feeling is wrong when it isn’t. this obviously goes both ways: don’t tell people who are trying their best to be happy and move forward that they are moving on too quickly.
