Are kpop still in the 3rd generation or already entered the 4th generation? Lot's of rookies getting famous nowadays ㅎㅎ
Generations tend to begin and end when a rookie group surpasses the popularity of the previous generations representative. There are some who say that were still in the second generation because no recent group has become more popular that TVXQ, BIG BANG, and/or GIRLS GENERATION; others disagree and say that groups like EXO, BTS, and TWICE are popular enough and a generation shift has clearly happened. KPL has always used its own generational system based largely on time (4-6 year periods, generally easily determined based on shifts in music/marketing trends) but we have lately begun moving away from the entire concept due to the difficulty in seeing where a clear shift has happened. What I'm getting at is that generations are subjective and dependant on a persons own criteria. Depending on who you ask, we are currently in the second, third, fourth, or even fifth generation. For the most part, there's no way to tell until a good amount if time has passed. Anyways, the whole concept of generations is quickly becoming obsolete due to the viral nature of kpop and how quickly the industry changes.
Just wanted to let you know for your trainees who switched companies, you can do Chungha from I.O.I (now solo artist) moved from JYP to M&H, Irene of Red Velvet moved from YG to SM, idk if this counts but Ten of NCT was accepted to YG but later was removed because his korean was too poor and now he's at SM

hi! sorry for the late reply! i believe there was a typo in the english address so it should be 627-26. BUT jellyfish seems to have moved since then and has a new address:
