Kpop downfall

Not like I’m gonna pretend I didn’t previously have a lot of positive feelings about Mark but honestly. Nothing about this is shocking, and all of it is tiring, and I can’t imagine how even more thoroughly tiring it must be for black fans of Mark and of NCT.

The chances that he didn’t know are slim to none, and even then that’s a case where people didn’t do their due damn diligence. Ignorance can’t be an excuse anymore if people want to make music and earn on a global stage. They can’t want to expand and expand and expand and then curl back into a little ball and plead “I’m just so sheltered and stupid!” every time there’s an overture.

Bottom line, he probably did know, and just didn’t care. And people like this (North Americans in non-black racial minority groups, including my own — Latinos) fucking fascinate me when they align themselves with anti-black racism. As if the Klan would’ve given a fuck about them either. But I’d be willing to bet there’s an extra model minority thing in play. I’d bet it makes it easier to believe the fucking fantasy.

Anyways que se jodan, the sell-outs and the racists of any color. Mark knew. He didn’t care. Otherwise the company (COMPANY. Couldn’t even compose an apology himself) apology wouldn’t have included that snippet about the fact that no one was supposed to have seen him wearing it in the first place. There was an effort to conceal.

I will not tolerate nor support anything or anyone who disrespects my culture or wears it as if it’s a clown costume to perform in, just to take it off and spit on it. This is a safe place and always will be, so for myself and others who enjoy what I post (thank you so much for enjoying it btw🩷😚😚😚) I will not be mentioning them in any other posts nor posting about them.
