Summary: After his tiring tour around the world, all he wanted to do was get home to you
“Finally some time to relaaaaax!” You sigh out with a smile, doing a quick twirl around your living room to see the perfectly clean, organized space around you.
While your boyfriend, Hongjoong, was on tour in America, you’d decided to take it upon yourself and clean your apartment. No he hasn’t moved in with you yet, but he was over enough half of his things were already placed throughout the house. You’d even made the comment lightheartedly about him just making it official and putting his name on the papers. He told you he didn’t want to put you in such a hard position of having to take care of everything while he was away on tour, and he was too afraid to leave the boys alone for long periods of time; even if Seonghwa was older and mature enough to take care of the group when Hongjoong stayed with you.
At finally finishing the cleaning after a couple weeks since he’d left, you gave yourself a happy grin and a pat on the back. “Yay! Now it’s Netflix time.” You said to yourself, sitting down on the couch and sprawling out with a happy sigh.
You laid your head down on one side of the couch, pillow on the arm rest for you to lay on while your feet rested on the other end, feet pressed on the inside of the other arm rest. You flipped through the movies and tv shows on Netflix, wondering which one would pick your fancy this time before settling on your favorite movie for the 100th time in like a month. You pressed play quickly and were only able to watch maybe 20 minutes worth before your eyelids grew heavy enough to put you in a light slumber.
The next thing you can recall is your front door quietly opening and closing as someone stepped through your front room. You could hear shoes sliding around the floor before slippers padded into the room by your feet. You tiredly open an eye to see what the commotion was, not too concerned since only three people have your house key; you, Hongjoong and Seonghwa. Hongjoong obviously because he unofficially lives with you as your boyfriend, and Seonghwa in case he needs to grab your boyfriend quickly since the poor baby refuses to leave your home.
“Honey I’m home!” Hongjoong said with a tired smile, looking at you through half awake eyes and a content smile on his face.
Just seeing you on the couch relaxing like always made him feel exactly how he did when he first met you; home. The feeling got more noticeable as time went on with you until all he knew was he just craved to stay with you constantly. The last tour he just came home from took its toll when he knew he couldn’t bring you with him. To the point San had to call you from multiple platforms all hours of the day to keep his leader’s spirits up enough to last their tour. “Noona! You have to talk to him again, he’s all pouty and sad!” San had told you over the phone while your precious boyfriend whined on the other end to hand the phone over. Needless to say, it was tough for the leader to deal with everything, unable to crawl into your arms at the end of the day.
Your smile brightened the more awake you became until you were able to look at him with your eyes fully open. “Hongjoongie~ You’re home!” You squealed happily, jumping off the couch to wrap your arms around his neck in a much needed and missed embrace.
His arms snaked around your waist, resting on your lower back while his nose buried itself in the crook of your neck, hiding in your hair. “God I missed you so much.” He whispered, fighting the urge to kiss your neck so he could just hold you the way he was for as long as possible.
You rested your lips gently on his neck, trailing the softest of kisses along his skin until you both leaned away from each other enough for your noses to be touching. “I missed you too.” You whispered before he captured your mouth in a kiss.
The gentlest and purest of kisses. One that only showed adoration and love. Gentle and guiding, as if he was trying to remember how to handle you. His hands were gently moving up and down your back in a soothing motion while yours threaded into his hair; amazingly soft hair which had the smallest of mullets from his recent video Pirate King. You were both happily pressed against each other when he trailed his hands down your bottom to cup your cheeks for a moment then continued lower to your thighs where he managed to grasp them and, with your help, lift you up enough so you could wrap your legs around his waist.
You pulled away from him for just a moment, a small smile on your face. “I love you. So much.” You told him softly, knowing he’d understand just how deep your love for him actually went.
He gave you a loving smile and kissed you again, even more gently than before, and you rested your right hand on his cheek, stroking your thumb along his face a moment until you squealed in surprise. “Hongjoong!” You yelped with a happy laugh as he’d lightly tossed you down on the couch.
He grinned down at you with mischief written all over his face, and all he did was laugh with you for a moment as you tried catching your breath. Once he knew you were okay-but of course you were fine, he didn’t even toss you that hard-he stretched his arms above his head for a moment and then climbed on top of you.
Crawling in between your legs, he stopped at your chest and managed to wiggle himself around until he was laying on top of your comfortably, legs between yours so your own were lightly wrapped around his waist. He wrapped his arms around your sides and buried his face in your chest. You chuckled softly once he managed to get comfortable and turned your neck to see where you put the remote. Luckily it didn’t move from the spot on the armrest and you were able to grab it quickly before Hongjoong whined at you from between your breasts. You didn’t even have to ask him what it was he wanted as you threaded a hand through his hair and started playing with it. He hummed softly while you decided on someone else to watch seeing as your movie somehow ended without your knowing.
Once you decided on what to watch, you pressed play and set the remote on the table before returning your free hand to your clingy boyfriend. While you’re left hand was playing with his hair, your right started stroking along his back, massaging his shoulder blades and gently running your nails up and down the middle of his back. He sighed quietly when you continued your ministrations and even started humming to him. Because as much as he loved making music, nothing sounded like the music the love of his life would make when cuddling with him.

Group: Ateez but really you can choose any bias you want
Warnings: Angsty, implied depression and grief/mental illness, couple of swear words sprinkled in.
A/N: Dealing with something similar to this myself, I found writing this out actually helped me feel a little better. I’m not sure if this could help someone else like me, but if it does please know you’re not alone in dealing with this. Actually this part of the grieving process I think means you’re getting somewhere in your feelings and controlling them. I remember someone told me “healing doesn’t have to be magical or pretty. Real healing his hard, exhausting and draining. Let yourself go through it.”
“Y/N, please understand that we’re only thinking of your best interests right now. We would like you to take some time off and get yourself fixed mentally and physically. You’re a great worker but we feel you should take a break for a while.” You could hear what your boss was saying, hell you could understand it to an extent, but it wasn’t entirely clicking in your brain until you were sat in your car driving home to your cats-and if you were lucky-your boyfriend.
Of course he was at his own job when you got home, working on the choreography with his groupmates and probably having a lot of fun while doing it. You knew he loved what he did and you supported him 100% of the time; even now, when you felt like your world was crashing around you and all you wanted was him to be with you and telling you it would all be okay as long as you stayed where you were in his arms. Just the thought of the words he’d say made you tear up in your car seat until you were crying a huge amount of tears, the droplets the size of your thumbnail. It took all you had to get out of the car, lock it, and make it inside where you haphazardly threw your coat and purse on the ground beside the front door. Your shoes were tossed against the wall in a pile.
You went straight to the bathroom where you turned on the water to scalding hot, turned on the lights and fans, and shut your phone off so you wouldn’t get any disturbances for the next hour or so. “Time to fix myself? What’s there to fix? They knew the battles I’ve been facing...” You muttered softly, feeling more tears welling up in your eyes at the memory of your work basically forcing you to take a temporary leave.
The more you thought about what happened today at work, the worse you felt until you were looking up at the ceiling in frustration, groaning out loud to yourself. You even went so far as to turn your phone back on to distract yourself on your social media apps, wanting nothing more than to calm the raging emotions circulating in your heart and mind. “If there was one thing you could say to your mother up in heaven right now, what would it be? Write it out or speak it out loud for her to hear you.” The first thing you saw read.
You immediately threw your phone away from you and collapsed in the shower in tears, loud sobs escaping you as you tried your best to fight back the panic rising in you. “Fuck! Noooo!” You screamed out, clutching your head in pain.
It had only been a year since she’d passed away, and you were constantly fighting with the emotional turmoil most people chalked up to be grief. Only you know how much more complicated it was in your brain, and no matter what you did, there was nothing really to be done. Luckily you had your amazing boyfriend to support and love you on your bad days as well as the days you felt more like your old self. You knew you had changed significantly since the experience, and half the time you felt it was for the worst instead of the best. But what could you do since you were ‘still going through your grief’ and ‘you’d just need time.’
The pain in your head from the fighting and crying was only getting worse as you gripped your head and started pulling on your hair. ‘Ground yourself Y/N! Think of what you feel, and taste. You know you can’t smell anything right now....you can taste your tears, feel your hair in your grip....grab something!’ You were shouting in your brain, trying to break yourself out of the fear and pain rising in you.
The first thing you were able to grab onto was the tub beside you. ‘Tub! That’s it, that’s the tub you’re in!’ Just the thought of gripping onto the tub beside you was enough to break you out of your episode, and you could feel and hear yourself gasping in breaths of air-even if they were stuttered breaths and very shallow.
“Jagi? You home?!” You could hear the familiar booming voice calling for you.
Instead of calling for him, you looked at yourself in the shower and immediately started wiping at your face to get your tears off. You scrubbed the hell out of your face until it looked like you’d just washed your face and then you quickly turned off the water, forgetting about using soap to actually clean yourself; in all honesty you just felt the need to be out there with him so he could help you calm yourself without seeing you such a mess.
“Y/N there you are!” He called happily, bright grin on his face as he saw your figure standing in the bathroom doorway.
He was about to move toward you and bring you into a hug when he took a good look at your face and actually read your eyes. You should’ve known you couldn’t hide your pain and fear from him. He’s known you almost as long as your mother has been gone. He met you a month or so after she’d passed and has been helping you with your episodes since. “Oh baby....” He whispered, his smiling dropping immediately as he went to wrap you up in his arms.
You sniffled softly and draped an arm across his chest, gripping onto the fabric on his shoulder while burying your face in his chest. “It hurts....it hurts so much.” You finally cried out, voice breaking off in the middle of the sentence.
His heart broke at the sound of your helplessness and his first response to what you said was to slowly back the two of you up until he felt the bed at his knees. “Sssshhhh I’m here, I’m here.” He cooed gently, stroking your hair and gripping your waist tight so you could feel his strength on your back.
Just his arms wrapped around you was enough to help you calm down a little until he was able to lay back on the bed slowly, taking you with him so you were on top of him, still buried in his chest. “I love you. We’ll get through this together okay?” He continued cooing, slowly and gently maneuvering you both until you were at the headrest of your bed, laying on your pillow with him hovering over top of you and encasing you in his body.
All you were able to do was nod against his chest while he hummed and coeed quietly to you to get you to either fall asleep or slowly release him. He ended up having to wait only 2 minutes until you fell asleep and released your grip on him. “Babygirl….we’ll get through this, I promise.” He whispered, kissing your forehead gently.
He stood up quickly and quietly and maneuvered around the room to get you some clothes to change into when you woke up, setting them on the dresser beside you, then climbed into the bed next to you with the remote to the tv. He turned on the television and played his favorite show as he then patiently waited for you to wake up. Until then, he pulled you into his side and kept an arm placed around you while humming softly to himself, keeping himself semi distracted and you in a peaceful sleep. God how you loved this man holding you so tightly.
Lol why is it so hard to make friends in this fandom I feel like we’re all back in high school and everyone else is the popular kid and I’m that one nerd everyone hates lmao why

Summary: Sometimes it’s good to have some alone time with only one member. Angel just needed a reminder to take time with each boy separately.
Warnings: None
Word Count: 1027
A/N: Thanks for reading! Have any ideas or requests? Send them in here. Wanna say hi or say something? Shout out here!
Wiping sweat off her face, Angel wrapped the towel around her shoulders and grasped at the water bottle on the ground by her duffel bag. She glanced over at the 3 other members in the room with her and smiled a little to herself when she saw them cracking jokes with each other. “Angel! Listen to this!” Minho shouted, pushing Changbin close to her for the joke.
She couldn’t help giggling no matter what was going on and shook her head at their antics. “You guys are such dorks. Drink your waters.” She told them lightly, scrunching her nose when they started laughing some more.
“Yes mom!” The three shouted in unison.
She snorted softly and bent down to grab up her bag before standing up straight to immediately be caught up in a tackle hug from Woojin. “Noonaaaaaa, can we go get food nooowww?” He asked with a pout, earning confused stares from Changbin and Minho, and a roll of the eyes from the redhead.
She gave a small chuckle and nodded her head. “Can we go home to change first? I really don’t want to go out smelling like a locker room when we get food.” She replied, watching the pout change into a look of confusion.
He tilted his head at her and scrunched his face up in his confusion. “You look fine? Let’s just gooooo. I want chicken.” He whined, pulling on her arm to try and convince her to eat sooner.
Minho and Changbin glanced at each other before hiding behind their hands to laugh quietly, immediately getting glared at by the redhead. She sighed and stepped away from Woojin, opening her arms wide and motioning to the clothes she had on. “THIS is not a good attire for FOOD Woojinnie. I really don’t think it’s a good idea to wear this around...” She told him gently, or as gently as she knew how.
He pouted again and tugged on her arm one last time before she rolled her eyes and let him drag her out the door. “Okay okay! Changbin, Minho, we’ll meet you back at the dorm! Don’t do anything too crazy please!” She called back to them, earning quick nods from the boys before the door was closed behind her.
She was barely able to look at the door that shut on her before turning to Woojin who seemed all too eager to go grab his precious chicken. “Okay, seriously, why are you so eager to go get food today?” She wondered while he continued on, almost trying to ignore her question.
Finally when she had enough of his fast pace, she yanked against his hold on her and brought him to a halt to look him in the eyes. “Woojinnie. Please answer me? Why are you so insistent on this?” She asked him gently, watching his face as he thought out his answer.
When he came up with one to reply to her, he glanced at the ground awkwardly. “I just wanted to spend time with Noona without everyone else around. You’re always spending time with the others, I just wanted to have some alone time with you too.” He said so quietly, it almost sounded like a child getting scolded for doing something he didn’t even know was wrong.
She frowned and rested a hand on his cheek, stroking her thumb across it to get him to look into her eyes again. “I’m sorry you felt that way, really. Next time though, say something instead? You know I love spending time with each and every one of you. There are times some boys need more attention than others. I just misplaced time spent with everyone. It won’t happen again I promise.” She told him with a small smile, earning a pout from the younger of the two who scrutinized her face for a moment.
She grinned then and crossed her chest over her heart. “If you feel like I’m neglecting you again, please tell me instead of drag me far away like you’re going to kidnap me.” She said with a small laugh when she got him to smile cheekily at her again.
He nodded his head eagerly and looped an arm around hers quickly to get them moving again. “Promise! Now, let’s go get food. I’m truly hungry.” He said while leading her through the streets.
As soon as they got comfortable on the couch at the dorms, a swarm of teens attacked the redhead at once. Some asking for help with a level in a game, some asking for help on homework, one asking to watch a movie with her. Chan immediately sat in her lap and wrapped his arms around her like a child to get her attention. He nuzzled his face against hers and whined softly while the rest of the boys continued to bombard her with questions and pouts of their own.
She finally sighed in tiredness and rested her head on the back of the couch. “Boys doing homework, sit at the dinging table. Minho, Changbin, start up the movie, I’ll watch it with you while I help them with their homework. Chan, we can cuddle later. Woojin, thank you for today, I really needed it.” She listed off, looking at each boy individually as she did, ending on Woojin with a gentle smile.
He grinned back and rested an arm on the back of the couch, behind her head. “It was nothing Noona. You looked like you needed the break.” He said easily; the two were purposefully hiding their true reason for going out, so that he wouldn’t look like the rest of the boys swarming her. She just wanted to keep his ego from deflating.
And just like that, she was back to helping everyone all at once while happily in the middle. She could feel a proud smile from somewhere in the room pointed in her direction and looked up in the familiar eyes she’d known for quite a while now. She couldn’t help but smile back with a small tint gracing her cheeks before turning her head back down to the math problems between her and Jeongin.
Summary: Easiest way to get Angel to like you again after you leave her out of something big having to do with the group mates? Save her from a spider she’s afraid of
Warnings: None
Word Count: 988
A/N: I’m sorry it’s not as good as you guys probably thought it would be. I’m trying to find things to type about with them. Slow process sorting through so much mini stories. Please feel free to say hi or ask questions or request something! I always enjoy listening to what others have to say!
Bedhead galore, Angel rubbed at her eyes as she was gently pulled out of her bedroom by the laughter of 9 boys. She gave a yawn and rubbed at the other eye while stepping through the doorway to see what all the commotion was about. The sound immediately stopped as 9 heads turned to face her, wide eyed and worried. “Did we wake you Noona?” Jisung asked gently, tilting his head at her.
She nodded her head and started rubbing at both eyes, ignoring the funny looks she was getting from a couple of the others. She was afraid to talk in case her voice cracked or did something weird around them to make them think she could be sick after the hard work she’d put in the last week with training and promotions. Minnho immediately ran to her and wrapped his arm around her, cooing at the adorable look she was giving them.
The two sat down on the couch next to Woojin who started unraveling bits of her hair to help possibly tame it for her. “Thanks.” She whispered, barely able to get any sound passed her lips from using her voice after a night of sleep.
When she finally was able to look up at her boys without drowsiness in her gaze, she stared at them in confusion. “Oi!” She yelped out suddenly, earning surprised yelps from a couple of the others.
They stared at her in curiosity as she frowned. “Why wasn’t I told about salon day?!” She whined at Chan, thinking it was his doing.
He shrugged his shoulders awkwardly and coughed into his hand, hoping to ignore the woman’s stare as each boy looked around at each other, wondering if their new hairstyles were that crazy to her. “Noona? Is it that bad?” Jeongin asked with a pout.
She blinked in confusion a moment before she realize what she’d said and shook her head vigorously. “Oh no! No, sorry that’s not what I meant Jeonginnie! You all look amazing. It just would’ve been nice to know we were getting our hair done.....” She said, mumbling the last part with a glare in the leader’s direction.
He shrugged his shoulders.
Woojin ran a hand through her freshly detangled hair and chuckled a little when she gave him a huff of annoyance. “Angel-Noona, you’re hair should never chance color. It’s pretty the way it is.” He told her, almost immediately getting a glare from the redhead.
She swatted at his hand and gave a small sigh before standing up to head into her room. “I’m going back into the room. Be sure to tell me if you go anywhere this time?” She asked them, giving pointed stares to Woojin and Chan who pouted at her sudden sour mood.
When the door shut, all eyes turned to Chan who raised his shoulders in defense. “Hey, I didn’t know she’d want to join us! I thought she liked her hair just the way it was!” He defended, holding his hands up so they couldn’t come after him.
Minho pointed at her door and gave him a frown. “She probably wanted to spend time with us. Or maybe there was something she wanted to do that might not have included dying her hair like what we did with ours.” He suggested, watching the frown appear on his leader’s face.
Just when the awkward silence was about to become unbearable, a blood curdling scream sounded in Angel’s room. Chan, followed by Changbin and Minho rushed into the room with makeshift weapons of a remote, book and hairbrush. They looked around wildly until a blur of red latched onto the leader’s frame. “KILL IT! KILL IT NOW!” She screamed in terror, pointing to the corner of the room.
Chan dropped the remote he was carrying to catch the wild 23 year old and stared at where she was pointing. “What is it?” He wondered, holding the woman tighter when she hid her face in his neck.
She whimpered quietly and started to try and pushed herself through the group and out of the room. “Get the spiderrrr!” She whined, looking up at the other two with tears in her eyes.
Changbin immediately stepped into the room to find the source of her panic, seeing the quarter sized arachnid stuck to the corner of her ceiling across from her bed. “I’ll get it, hang on Noona!” He called over to her, winding his arm back to throw the book toward the thing.
She flinched when she heard the thud of the book hitting the wall and peeked out from Chan’s neck to see what had happened. “You’re cleaning that up right?” She asked seriously when she saw the gross splatter of the dead spider on the book.
Changbin rolled his eyes and snorted softly before getting the hug he wanted from the woman. “I mean sure, if this is what I get for saving you from the spider and cleaning the book.” He sighed out, earning a smile from his favorite member.
She then stepped toward Minho and gave him a large hug too. “And thank you for helping save me from the spider.” She told him, gaining a grin as he hugged her tight and started backing them both up and away from the leader who was about to pummel him for stealing the redhead.
“HOW MANY TIMES DO I HAVE TO TELL YOU TO STOP STEALING HER FROM ME!” He finally roared, earning laughs from the rest of the members while Chan chased Minho around the dorm house,
Woojin stepped toward Angel and wrapped an arm around her shoulders. “So about the salon thing?” He asked quietly.
She shook her head. “You all look amazing. And it’s really fine. I understand. Just shocked is all. You guys look so sexy now.” She replied just as quietly, winking up at him when his cheeks started reddening from her compliment.
Summary: JYP has finally decided to let Skylar in the booth, if for a memorial to her great grandmother. He finally gives her the push she needed to start her training with everyone else. And gives way to a new friendship sprouting

A/N: It might be a little confusing but here is the beginning of Angel’s history in her family.
Have any ideas or requests? Send them in here!
“Dúlamán na farraige, be'fhearr a bhí, be'fhearr a bhí!
Be'fhearr a bhí in Éirinn!”
After finishing up the last of the song, Skylar smiled a little to herself and looked up at the man on the other side of the glass. She gave him a thumbs up and smiled. “Thank you for allowing me time to practice this! It’s my favorite song.” She told them happily with a small hop where she stood.
JYP chuckled and smiled a little at her happy face while crossing his arms over his chest. “See? I told you you had it in you.” He replied with an easy grin spreading across his features.
She nodded her head quickly and moved the headphones off her ears to place down on the seat behind her, then made for the door. “Sorry I doubted you, Coach!” She called out as she stepped into the sound check room, grinning at her boss who was smiling at her.
He held his hand out for a high five and she immediately took advantage of the high five, jumping up and slamming her hand down on his. He winced a little as he shook out his hand, hoping to relieve the stinging feeling now making its way up his arm. “So what was the song? That’s not Korean, or English.” He said, wondering what the tune was since she’d handed them her own music along with this question of singing something in the booth for herself.
She smiled a little and glanced down at her hands, fiddling with her fingers as a memory came to her mind. “Irish Gaelic. My mimi taught me the song, before she passed. My da is still a little shaken up about my learning our history.” She replied softly, looking up at him finally as she felt the confidence rise up in her being again.
She grinned then. “This song was the first my mimi taught me! She was so happy when she found out I wanted to learn her customs. Said she was proud one of her babies was interested in the homeland. To the point we both went to visit Ireland for a few weeks and I came back with an accent myself! My ma wanted nothing to do with it though and within a few months the accent was gone. I still keep a bit of the dialect close at heart.” She explained.
Her boss gave her a small smile and rested a hand on her head in affection. “Sounds like you love her a lot. She must be proud to have you as a granddaughter.” He told her sincerely, watching the light in her eyes sparkle.
She grinned and nodded her head, forcing his hand to drop before she looked to the clock. “Oh! It’s time for practice! Thanks again for the time to do this!” She yelped suddenly, jumping for the door before bolting out of it like lightning.
Someone walked into the room just as she sped around the corner and looked to the boss in confusion. “Who was that?” The teen asked in confusion.
JYP laughed and sighed a little with a shake of the head. “You’ll meet her soon enough Chan. She’s probably gonna be around for a very long time.” The man replied, clapping a hand on his shoulder to make the teen stumble a little.
Chan frowned a little before looking back at his boss. “I don’t understand.....” He mumbled.
JYP simply pushed the kid out the door and waved at him as he looked back in confusion. “Like I said, you’ll see soon enough! Get to practice boy, you’re gonna be late!” The boss hollered, earning a panicked expression as the teen ran off the same way Skylar had gone.
The big man pondered to himself while he stood in place, stroking his chin in thought. “I wonder how those two would get along....” He thought out loud, gaining a strange look from the sound check man beside him.

Chan watched in complete despair as the eldest of the group sat in her bedroom crying her eyes out as if the most important person in her life broke her heart. He leaned against her door frame and frowned, arms crossed over his chest while his right leg rested over her left. The sobbing from the redhead was so painful he could feel tears sting at his eyes for a moment before he pushed them to the side. Wiping his eyes he slowly and quietly made his way into her room to sit beside her.
As soon as she felt the bed dip, Angel dropped her head down onto his shoulder and nuzzled her nose into the crook of his neck, sobs wracking her body. “I c-can’t do this anymore! It’s ju-just t-too hard! I mi-iss them so much.” She whimpered against his neck.
He sighed gently and wrapped his arms around her shaking body, pulling her close to him. Lucky for them the rest of the group left for the day to have a relax and recharge day, so it was just the two of them in the dorm room. It still hurt that she was feeling this way though, and he couldn’t help but berate himself for not seeing it sooner. “I know Babe.....I know.” He whispered soothingly, one hand moving to her head to gently stroke down her hair.
She sobbed for a few more minutes until the tears just dried up, and all she could do was hiccup against his neck. “I want to see them again...” She told him quietly, through a hoarse sounding voice still cracking from her wails and sobs.
He stroked her hair some more so she was able to calm down some more and then slowly pulled away from her, looking into her tear-filled eyes. “If that’s what you want, I think we can do something for you. Maybe we can convince them to give you a few days off to see them? Maybe bring one of us with you.” He suggested, seeing the smallest of sparks enter her eyes again.
She wiped at her eyes a little to get the tears and gave him a tiny smile in appreciation before going back to her sad look and resting her head back on his shoulder. “There’s only one person you can’t take me to....I miss her the most.” She whispered, barely loud enough for her best friend to hear.
He held onto her as tight as he could and kissed the top of her head, hoping to sooth her. “I know, and I’m sorry. She loved you so much though. You have to remember that.” He whispered back against her hair.
She sniffled and nodded her head, arms loosely wrapping around his middle as she buried her face into his shoulder. “Will you go with me? Please?” She asked finally, not bothering to look at him since she was so scared of his reaction.
His eyes widened a little after her question and he stared at the wall across from them for a moment as he let the question sink in. Her and him, together, on a plane alone, to visit her family? He bit his lip in thought and gnawed on it a while before sighing. He could feel her tensing as he was about to answer her. Finally he smiled and hugged her tight again. “Yeah I’ll go with you. How could I say no to you?” He replied, feeling her instantly relax into his hold.
He could feel her smiling into his shoulder and gave a small smile himself. “There’s my smile.” He whispered, feeling her starting to squirm in his grasp.
She sighed softly and closed her eyes, shaking her head against his shoulder. “Can we go ask JYP now? I really wanna go see them...” She muttered softly, fighting the urge to yawn suddenly.
Chan smiled and fell back on the bed, moving the both of them up to the pillows on her bed. He pushed her to lay her head on her pillow instead of him and rolled himself onto his side, looking into her face as she closed her eyes like she was going to fall asleep. He brushed hair out of her face and frowned just a little bit when he saw her furrow her brows. “Angel?” He asked quietly, getting a small whine from the redhead.
She curled up into a ball and moved her hands up to her face before trying to roll onto her other side, as if to hide from him. Luckily he’d seen something similar to this happen before and managed to act quickly. Putting her on her back, he sat up and watched her for a moment as she thrashed suddenly, wondering how she could have already been so deep asleep unless she was half asleep while talking to him. He thought about it, and somehow it kind of made sense to him, except for the fact her eyes were completely open as she spoke full sentences to him.
He rubbed her stomach a moment and laid himself on top of her, hoping that would be enough to get her to stop. He wrapped his arms around her waist and rested his chin on the top of her chest, staring into her face as she slowly stopped moving around. When she finally had rested her hands on his arms did he drop his head down to rest his temple on her chest. “I’m sorry you’re still going through these nightmares, but I promise we’ll see your family soon. Maybe seeing them will help you feel better here” He muttered more to himself than to her.
He felt her jump at the sound of the door suddenly slamming shut and looked towards the doorway as the boys’ loud voices rang through the air. She gasped awake and tried getting up off her bed, only to realize that Chan was on top of her. “Oi, when did you get in my room?” She asked him, tilting her head in confusion.
He stared at her in surprise and frowned a little. “Don’t you remember? I came in because you were crying. Something about missing your family and mom?” He replied, seeing her face suddenly take on a darker look as she processed his words.
She closed her eyes and turned her head to her window. “Oh....right. It’s that time already.” She muttered, opening her eyes to look at the window.
He sighed and sat up, bringing her with him so he could hug her again. “When was it?” He asked her quietly.
Resting her head on his shoulder she wrapped her arms around him. “Today. 6 years ago today.” She whispered, feeling the tears fighting to escape from her eyes.
Chan sighed again and slowly got up off the bed with her, dragging her out into the livingroom where the boys were still goofing off. “Oi! One volunteer to go on a trip with Angel and I. Who’s down for it?” He asked, immediately seeing his aussie comrade’s hand shoot up before anyone else’s.
Felix ran at the two and wrapped his arms around the two. “Me me me me me me! Take me!” He repeated almost for a minute straight.
Angel couldn’t help but giggle and nod her head, bringing the teen into a hug with her and Chan. “Fine you win. You can come too.” She sighed out, kissing the top of his head as he jumped for joy and pumped a fist into the air.
The rest of the boys all pouted at her. “We wanna go too!” Minho shouted from the couch with a pout, crossing his arms like a child.
Chan tightened his hold on the redhead and glared halfheartedly at the younger boy. “Nuh-uh! She’s mine. Back off!” He yelled, hiding her from Minho’s sight with his own body.
Angel arched an eyebrow at him and smirked a little. “So jealous.” She said simply, rolling her eyes when he whined at her.
He then released her and went over to the fridge to write himself a note, making sure to make it big enough to read so anyone could remind him. “TALK TO JYP ABOUT VISITING THE STATES.” He wrote out.
She walked up behind him and rested her chin on his shoulder, reading the symbols on the fridge with a frown. “I still have no idea what that says.” She told him seriously.
He turned to face her and poked her nose. “Good. Then it can be a surprise where we’re going.” He told her with a wink, laughing a little when she whined and crossed her arms childishly.
She turned around to Woojin and pouted at him, earning his full attention. “What is it? What’s wrong?” He asked quickly, rushing over to her and Chan.
She pointed to the fridge. “What’s it say? I still can’t read Hangul!” She whined to him, getting him to look to the leader in confusion.
Chan shook his head and mouthed for it to be a surprise, getting Woojin to agree to the plan as he pretended to sigh exasperatedly and shake his head. “Well I can’t help you with that. Whatever happened to the studying you and Felix were doing together?” He asked, pointedly looking at her and the teen.
Felix pretended to ignore the conversation and focus hard on the screen in front of him that he said up with Changbin. “Oi stop killing me Mate!” He cried out in his Australian accent, earning a laugh from the redhead as she also pretended to ignore Woojin’s question.
She flopped onto the couch on top of Mino and watched the two on the floor play the game intently. “Who’s winning?” She asked, hoping to ignore Woojin’s glare for as long as possible.
Chan patted Woojin’s shoulder and shook his head. “It’s not worth it. They’re lost to the world of gaming.” He told him, walking over to the group.
Minho had managed to wrap an arm around the eldest and looked up at his leader with a smug smile as if to say she was his at the moment, before getting hit in the stomach with an elbow. “Stop giving him that look Lee Minho. Don’t think I don’t see it.” She said in a deadly serious voice.
Minho rolled his eyes and chuckled. “Yes Ma’am.” He replied quickly.

Summary: Finally time for her style so shine, Angel puts the finishing touches on her outfit for her second music video. And to help her nerves, she has surprises keeping her on her toes!
Warnings: None
Word Count: 1190
Angel was sat in her makeup chair, two different makeup artists standing in front of her talking to each other and her about some idea for their next video. The only thing Chan had told her, was make sure her true style came to life. As soon as the words left his mouth she’d caught him up in a hug and squealed in excitement. “I love you!” She shouted before disappearing behind the changing room where she’d been sat for the last hour and a half.
She frowned a little at some of the pallets the two women were looking at. “What kind of a video are we making? It seems a little grungy.” She told them, earning surprised looks from the both.
One smiled and nodded her head. “It’s a grungy look. But which pallet fits better for you?” She asked, holding them both out.
Angel immediately pointed to the one closer to what she’d normally use and then glanced at the products lining the table. “That pallet with this, and this, and oooohh this!” She responded, grabbing the products she wanted and setting them to the side while the rest was pushed to another side.
She sat back down in the chair and quietly took a breath, trying to gain a normal breathing rate again as she thought about the second video she’d be in. She was turning into a nervous wreck and she couldn’t afford to lose control just yet. She didn’t want the boys rushing in because she worried them....again. She should stop doing that.
“Do you really think this will work for the video? I was thinking more of something like this.” The second stylist suggested, showing Angel a photo of a specific makeup design she was thinking about.
Angel tilted her head in thought for a moment before nodding her head. “Yeah I can see something like that, and if we change this so it matches the boys a little better....maybe throw something else on top?” She threw in, earning nods of approval from the stylists.
They smiled at her and both got to work quickly on finding all the correct makeup and clothing for her before the shooting would start. She sighed a little and sat back in the chair, taking a small nap as the stylists bustled around her. She could hear them talking quietly to each other as they grabbed things, but paid no mind to it. She opened her eyes when a familiar ‘ding’ came from her phone. She looked down at it and smiled wide when she saw the familiar name on her screen.
“Hello, you’ve reached Skylar. What can I do for you today?” She asked as soon as she answered the phone.
A giggle sounded through the phone and her smiled widened. “Auntie! When’s your new video coming out? I wanna see it!” The familiar 5 year old shouted in the phone.
She glanced to the women who were watching her with smiles and grinned back at them. “It’s my nephew from my home. He’s asking about the video.” She told them quietly, hearing chuckles as they nodded and continued going about their own duties.
Angel looked at herself in the mirror as she listened to the boy’s ramblings about what he’d been able to do throughout the day and the harpings of the rest of the family on their end trying to get him to end the call so she could focus on getting ready for the day. It was about 7pm in the states if she remembered correctly, so it was pretty early where she was; in the chair, talking to the precious child over the phone.
After she finally managed to get off the phone with him, she came face to brush with makeup brushes. She blinked and stared at the two. “I thought you finished my makeup?” She asked them.
They nodded and laughed a little. “It’s just for touchups. You’re almost done, just need to get in the clothes after this.” One told her as the other blended the last bits of makeup into her skin.
She sighed and took the brush to the face for the last time of the day, hopefully. “You’re just lucky I’m used to this abuse.” She muttered, knowing they could still hear her perfectly.
Though they didn’t say anything about her comment, they did smile at her again. So she was again put into silence while they grabbed her outfit to put her in. She pouted and sighed. “How long am I gonna be in this first outfit? Wait no....how long are we going to be shooting for?” She asked, looking at the two through smoky eyes.
The younger of the two gave her a sympathetic grimace. “As long as it takes for you all to get the shot.” She replied quietly, making the young woman sigh and nod her head.
She stood up out of the chair and turned for the privacy screen in the back corner of her changing room, stepping behind it at the perfect moment. “Angel! You ready yet?” Someone barged into the room.
She stared wide eyed at the screen she hid behind before finding movement in her body to peak her head out. “H-Hyunjin! You can’t just barge into my changing room! I’m not a guy!” She yelped.
He blinked at her and tilted his head. “So?” He responded.
She rolled her eyes and walked out from behind the screen, hands on her hips. “So if I was in the middle of changing out of my pants or shirt, and you caught me without either on, you wouldn’t feel embarrassed? Or see an issue with looking at me HALF NAKED?” She asked pointedly, making him think about the action.
He thought about it a moment before the things she said sunk into his brain. His eyes widened and he stared at her before opening his mouth to say something. “WHO SAW YOU HALF NAKED?! ONLY I’M ALLOWED TO!” Someone else screamed, running into her changing room.
Chan stared at her wide eyed, looking her over before realizing she wasn’t in the middle of changing.
She glared at him and pointed at the teen in front of her. “I thought you were gonna keep them OUT.” She hissed, watching him look to Hyunjin who’s head was down toward the ground.
He gulped and gently grabbed the boy’s shoulders, guiding him out of the room before he stepped back in quickly and giving her a charming smile. “Aren’t you looking lovely today.” He tried charming her in his Australian accent.
Her eyes narrowed and she pointed to the door. “OUT! Crazy boys.” She hissed, speaking to herself in her father’s tongue so no one else could understand her.
Chan stuck his head back in. “I don’t know what you said but that is HOT.” He told her with a grin, immediately getting the door slammed in his face.
She rolled her eyes and grumbled with a shake of her head. “They’re going to drive me nuts!” She whined to the women in the room, who laughed at her pain.
