My first model airplane project.  I've been a miniature aviation hobbyist since high school, but never quite got around to building my own airplane.  The previous model's I've own and crashed were always the 'minimum assembly type.'

This year, I decided to bite the bullet and build.  My first impression after opening the box.  I gasped ' all this unmarked wood ???'  Maybe I am in over my head.   Thankfully I posted my concerns on www.ezonemag.com, and the kind folks were able to talk me off the ledge.   

I have steadied my nerves a bit, and will post my build experience here.    Here are a few things to consider when building your first kit.

Wood glue - non-toxic ( might save your lungs )

Measuring tape - no markings on the wood, so you must measure what the plans call for.

Green Foam insulation ( great surface for building your model on *cross fingers*  You can stick your 'pins' through the wood, without damaging your dinner table.

Finally - READ the instructions over and over and over,  they begin making sense after a while.
