Regarding Nakanohito Genome [Jikkyouchuu] Episode 4
The chemistry between Iride and Anya was nicely fleshed out here! I think the anime did a wonderful job making that moment quite soft with the background music :”D Though, unfortunately I have to say they did cut a lot out of the part with Onigasaki and Oshigiri T__T that was quite a memorable scene in the manga in regards to Zakuro’s reason (his sister, as he said in the episode). In the anime it was a fairly quick, vague statement before they immediately swapped to the the ogre stage, which makes sense, if most of the viewers are here for the action ;;’ I’m hoping maybe the anime will revisit it later or they’ve intentionally left it ambiguous for now? They do keep swapping the orders of some scenes in some chapters, it’s possible they might put it all together somehow. Kind of like how we thought we missed a scene, but it turned out in a flashback. I’m a little biased, for Oshigiri and Onigasaki are admittedly my favourite characters HAHAHA~ I was kind of looking forward to that scene being properly played out, but hey! We got some nice scenes with Iride and Anya and it was very sweet. What were your thoughts on the episode~?
Honestly? I’m kinda pissed.
I feel like they’re stepping up the AkaAn game, and leaving the KaiZaku vibes out (or most of it anyway). I do appreciate AkaAn, and I liked the added phrases/scenes a lot, but I… I can’t help but feel bummed that half the sequeces with Kaikoku & Zakuro get cut in half all the time :(
And I’m not saying that just because they’re together in those scenes, but the general atmosphere between them and the rest of the cast is different. At this point in the manga, we had learned that Kai had been expelled from his household, has issues with rules & authorities, was suspicious of Yuzu, Iride & Paca, and was hot when he’s serious (Yes, that’s important). In the anime though? We’ve had nothing of that.
Of course, I’m guessing they’ll show the rest of the scene later as a flashback (why do they keep doing that?), but I still don’t get the point of the scene shuffling. It lessens the quality of the character development and the relationships.
I still hope we do get the full scene. I WANT TO SEE THIS SCENE SO MUCH!!!!!
Even though poor Zaku gets rejected www I think this is actually a progress in their relationship. From there, Zaku starts worrying about Kai, and at least Kai considers him an ally.
Also, this just doesn’t compare…..
I need my sexy Kai-san -sigh-
And you know what else I’m surprised about? They haven’t seized any extra opportunity for Yuzu x Karin fanservice xD I mean, it’s canon… so idk why they’ve skipped it.
Oh, but blushing Anya is a blessing, no one can complain about that ♥ ♥ ♥
