god i didnt forget it but replaying ff16 reminded me how boring the game actually is

now im right before the point of no return again the thing that frustrates me about ff16's themes so much is that "choose your own destiny" is a common theme in fiction that has been done well before but they chose the most boring way to deliver it because practically none of the characters outside a small few feel like they have their own motivations or interior lives including jill who got sidelined mega hard. nier automata handles themes of self determination in a way thats a lot more interesting

finished game so i could uninstall it and make space on my drive. played dlcs too and i wish i could say i felt like they added anything but they dont really. dont know if ill feel differently about this game in 10 years when the video game industry crashes or not. anyways i think its really funny that they concluded the game with the "my friends are my power" thing in a game that literally doesnt have a party system. ff9 did it better

Why are people now saying "LARP" when they mean "poser". It's confusing.

Everyone is always parroting The Buzzword Of The Month without actually knowing what it means or where it comes from, make it stop

Kinda like how "POV" went from "(implied first person) Point Of View" to "there is a video"
