The addisons are seen normally as nonbinary, their ads, they reasonably wouldnt have assigned genders. Plus we never hear the addisons reffered to with pronouns to my knowledge. If the addisons are nonbinary, and spamton is or at least USED to be an addison wouldnt they also fall into that genderless category? Plus the fact we know the addisons, or the orange one at least, has a mannequin shaped exactly like spamton, and the addisons DO have different shapes and this mannequin is a carbon copy of spamton, and this mannequin wears a dress. And in castle town chapter 4 we see they fixed the ralsei mannequin to look like spamton instead with a somewhat dress shape. So we know spamton mightve worn dresses in the past, which could mean possibly being more feminine in their younger years. And in spamtons neo form, they do not wear pants, they were a skirt? Some kind of dress? Possibly a tunic? Its not pants is what it is. Meaning maybe a more feminine aspect to them? But we know they prefer masculine terms like mailman or salesman. And we know spamton was rated #1 in 1997, typically not a very welcoming time for anyone under the lgbt umbrella. Spamton also worked with Tenna, who is reasonably a fair bit older than spamton and might not have understood gender identity back then as he does now with Kris. We also know Kris does have some sort of connection with spamton, both being controlled by some outside being they have no ability to break free from. Who KNOWS what FRIEND or whoever spamtons benefactor turns out to be did to spamton? Possibly forcing a more binary identity onto spamton, and we know SOME body modification went on either through unseen forces or acid bath. So what we know as spamton today is completely different from past spamton. And even if spamton is okay or just unbothered by what their reffered to doesnt change their identity. and spamtons voice! It isnt exactly masculine. It sounds like an old computer, robotic. It doesnt sound masculine or feminine. Plus spamton doesnt really have any gender defining features, and their a puppet. Puppets dont exactly HAVE gender in the first place. Now were they always a puppet? Probably not considering the addisons arent and are usually compared to birds.
