I wanted to do wedding outfits for the longest time and I had a sim screenshot of the two lying around so I used that as a base for this drawing.
Will probably rework them a bit. Gale's outfit needs some white to balance it out with Helia's. And it's such a tiny detail but Gale is wearing a earring that matches Helia's. Suppose to be moonstones since in bg3 and the campaign that Helia is from he worships a goddess that is associated with the moon (bg3 Selune, campaign Desna).
Decided Mikela's magic is green but has some red in it and flickers like fire. It fits his wood elf lineage on his mom's side but also takes into account the origin of his sorcerer abilities.
I've wanted to do something with this post for awhile, it's very fitting for Helia. He will put all his energy into others to help them and end up drained when it comes to helping himself.
My reasonings for abysmally strength stat Gale being able to lift Helia is 1) Helia is an air genasi and I headcanon that they feel lighter than they actually weigh. 2) Gale wants to impress Helia (probably takes place not long after act 2 scene)
In the end Gale suffers the next day but Helia is there to soothe the pain away with some magic and healing ointment.
(Helia gets to be princess carried + admire a shirtless Gale. He feels very lucky~)

Drew this with the idea being sometime in Act 3. Gale has this one line with Astarion
"Sordid? I lay with the Mother of Magic herself. What we had was transcendent, euphoric, incandescent. Not sordid."
(wiki says it happens after romance act 3 scene but I swear I've heard it when first visiting/passing by Sharess' Caress?? i'm going to pay close attention when i get to act 3 on my current playthrough)
When hearing it Helia would be hurt. He knows Gale doesn't harbor feelings like that for Mystra anymore but it doesn't stop the thought worming (hah) it's way in that he isn't a worthy partner.
Helia already has problems with self worth. He wants to be needed and if he can't be of help he finds himself lost and unsure. Being a cleric of Selune is a fulfilling role for him and he leans on it to find himself worthy of being kept around.
He's only had a handful of short lived relationships (if you can call them that, mostly just a few dates before going separate ways, EXCEPT that one summer he spent dating a halfling named Lamrick that ended up breaking up due to wanting to start a family).
Adding that he could never compare to a literal goddess has him taking a crushing blow. The rest of the day he is quiet, more reserved than usual and ends up skipping dinner.
It's when Gale tries to bring him food that he learns why Helia has gone off (I like to think Karlach and Shadowhart are the ones that lay into him). He finds Helia and they have a heart to heart. Helia has never pushed Gale to open up about his relationship with Mystra anymore than the info he has freely given. This would be where more of that info is given.
They grow closer after the talk and Helia does become more confident in himself, at least when it comes to Gale's affection.
One of my dnd groups campaigns went on hiatus so we're starting another one to fillthe void. It's Roman/Greek/Arthurian vibes with a Roman/Greek mix pantheon. I reworked my techpriest from our ended 40k campaign to be a phoenix sorcerer :D (I wanted to try warlock but we already had one so went with sorcerer).
Don't know much about the world but the sun is hated(?) so being phoenix > fire > hot > sun .. my boy might get some looks lol. Mikela is a young and fiesty half elf. He's a very prideful person who hates being look down on or pitied.
His parents aren't together. He lives in an elf sanctuary where the elves live in a huge tree (dm said think the tree from avatar) while the few other races that they make an exception for live in areas surrounding the tree.
Don't know much other than that or the main quest/line for the story but im excited to play my boy again :D he is very different from Helia so the change up is fun.
