Until now, I’d mostly been answering the recs people sent through asks, but a few of you kept asking me to make this a monthly thing—so I finally decided to start sharing what I’ve been reading each month and slowly work my way through my never-ending TBR.
I didn’t get to read nearly as much as I wanted to this month because I was still crawling my way out of thesis hell, but now that it’s finally over, I’m hoping to make much more time for reading!

Clint shot him a look from under the hood. "She'd listen if you'd stop manhandlin' every damn bolt." Joel rolled his eyes, reaching for another wrench. "Hell, she likes a firm hand." Meanwhile, you stood in the kitchen, two sweating glasses of sweet tea forgotten in your hands. The tea wasn't the only thing melting in the Texas heat. When, exactly, had you started seeing a thirty-year-old pickup as competition? Worse… when had it started winning? Rock bottom had a four-wheel drive.
