Whether platonic, romantic, or otherwise, any and all works surrounding the dynamic between these two is welcome for this event, including but not limited to: fanfiction, fanart, gifs, video edits, playlists, headcanons, meta, etc.!
Each day is associated with a specific theme and is open to any interpretation you’d like. Playing fast and loose with them is completely fine. They’re there as guides, not rules!

The only restrictions regarding the type of content you create are:
No AI-generated content, please. If you choose to go that route, I can't stop you from posting, but your work won't be permitted in the collection or shared on my blog.
Gary and Goh must be the primary focus of your work. Having other relationships on the side or in the background is totally fine, but the main one should be the relationship between Gary and Goh.
Otherwise, the only rule is to have fun!!

Q: Is x kind of content allowed?
A: Create any kind of content you like (please note that AI-generated content does not count as creating, in the scope of this event). The only rule is that it must be primarily focussed on the relationship between Gary and Goh. Just make sure to tag your work appropriately so people who may not want to see certain types of content can avoid it.
Q: If I can’t post on a specific day, can I post it on a different day even if it doesn’t fit that day’s theme?
A: Of course! Posting late (i.e. after the event has ended) is also fine! Just please don’t post anything for the event before it has begun!
Q: How will my work be shared?
A: The mod (that’s me, kohakhearts) will reblog any and all appropriately tagged works to their blog, but there is not a dedicated blog for the event. However, any works posted to AO3 can be added to the collection I made for the event here. As a reminder, you can post more than just fanfiction on the Archive, so don’t be shy about using the collection to share your work! Any and all works posted to the collection will be unrevealed until May 28th (00:00UCT). After that point, the collection will be open and unmoderated. It will not close, ever. So feel free to post any late entries!
Q: Do I need to complete every day to participate?
A: Absolutely not!! Posting for just one day is more than fine.
Q: Do works need to be completed upon posting to be conisdered part of the event?
A: Nope! Post the first chapter of that fic you've been thinking about, those first few panels of a comic, whatever you like! If you finish creating the rest during the remainder of the week, that's great, but also not required. Even if you aren't sure you'll ever finish it, don't let that from stopping you!
Q: Can I post multiple creations for a single day?
A: Go for it! Whether you post one thing during the entire week or 28 different things, it well be well-loved! Do what makes your heart happy!

Hayate stays firmly rooted in place, though his responding smile is open and warm. “Anything for you, Kip,” he says brightly.
Kipper’s cheeks flame, and he hurriedly turns away from him to go get changed. Hayate probably doesn’t even realize how romantic he sounds when he says things like that; in a way, it’s part of why Kipper loves him so much, but it doesn’t make it any easier to bear when it’s directed his way.
He takes as much time as he can changing into a dryer set of clothes without feeling like a jerk for taking too much time when the Pokémon Centre is as busy as it is tonight. Probably, a lot of the Trainers here now are in the same boat as Kipper and Hayate: stranded on their way to Vermilion City for the contest being held there in a couple days. He hadn’t known Hayate planned to enter this one, but it shouldn’t come as a surprise; Vermilion City is one of Kanto’s most picturesque. Kipper’s sister said she found it disappointing considering all the hype—she insisted Hoenn boasts much more beautiful port cities—but her girlfriend had adamantly disagreed, telling Kipper it’s well worth the visit. That it’s one of the most romantic cities in the world and he would totally love it. Lime grumbled that she was just biased because she has family there, which Kipper supposes is a reason Hayate might have wanted to come this way, too. His step-mother’s father runs some kind of research institute in Vermilion City; maybe the Vermilion Contest is just a pleasant excuse for him to go visit.
But as much as Lemon’s excessive enthusiasm for everything makes her claims, generally, dubiously over-the-top at best and outright misleading at worst, Kipper can’t deny his curiosity. Especially not now that he knows Hayate will be there at the same time he will be. Maybe after the storm passes, they could even travel there together. If they both planned to enter the same contest anyway, it would hardly hurt anything, would it?
