🫂: what’s their favourite way to hold each other when words aren’t enough?

as many know i am Long Hair Goh Truther, and so one of my favourite flavours of physical intimacy with these two is any kind of arrangement that lets gary stroke or play with goh's hair. and as i have mentioned i am also a Gary Is Taller Than Goh Truther, so i very much am a fan of the classic head under chin pose with them. i think in general, again, like, they're very touchy, and i think goh in particular tends to be pretty physically clingy, which frankly gary loves. so if goh is upset, then his goal is really just to be Maximally Held. an upset gary is much more touch averse, though, so in those cases it's usually more just holding hands, gentle touches to the face and lots of eye contact, things like that!

goh, for pretty much all the same reasons listed here. and he definitely would use the accident excuse, even though he knows gary isn't falling for that even a little bit and gary would 100% call him out on it, lmao

🔥: what’s the pettiest thing they’ve ever argued about?

the thing is, a better question here is what's the least petty thing they've ever argued about, lmao. also arguing is 100% their love language, so i think they probably spend a lot of time arguing about stuff that's really very Nothing. it could be a matter of like, gary riling goh up because he knows they could both use the stress relief (gary gets his stress relief from being a jackass and goh gets his from totally blowing up on him. this is not a healthy dynamic irl obviously, but i am very charmed by the idea that gary's like the one person goh doesn't have to feel bad about blowing up on because gary likes making him yell and scream at him, lmao), or it's just, you know. foreplay. LOL

that said, literally take your pick. they probably start every morning arguing over whose turn it is to make the coffee, or that one of them made the bed "wrong" or something. there is nothing in the world these two would not find a way to argue about

🩹: how do they comfort each other after nightmares?

i think they are both giving Touch-Starved yet normally very resistant to acknowledging it, so no words needed physical comfort is definitely the way. i am very fond of this dynamic with them also where, like, gary goads goh into talking about his feelings - and goh pushes him back to talk about his because if he's going to make goh do it, then he had better do it, too. and in general just this idea of like "well he's being honest with me, so i owe it to be honest back." i write this dynamic all the time with them, lol. the "oh are you scared to be vulnerable???" from gary that forces goh to be like "fuck you, i'm not scared. obviously i can be vulnerable. i'll prove it." and then gary being like "ok he was vulnerable with me, now i have to prove i can be vulnerable too and i'm not just talking out of my ass." so they would also both coax the other into talking about what the nightmare was about, but i think in either direction the physical comfort aspect would be more important (though probably more so for goh than for gary. gary would just want more buffer time to figure out what to say and how to express what the problem is, but he actually naturally calms down faster than goh does)

😏: who is bolder in public (hand-holding, kisses, etc.)?

by nature, gary, HOWEVER. i do think they are an awful pda couple, especially because i think they kind of make it a competition. like early in their relationship when goh is still embarrassed to hold hands in public, gary is definitely making fun of him for it and then goh's going well fuck you and kissing him silly on the middle of the street or whatever to prove, again, he's Not Scared, Dammit. they're both very touchy, though, so in general i see their relationship being very much like, once their relationship gets to the point where they're comfortable holding hands, it goes from 0 to 100 really fast and they have a hard time generally keeping their hands off each other lol

🌧️: who steals whose hoodies when it rains?

i am very fond of the headcanon of goh loving to steal gary's clothes, though he would never ever admit it (gary might tease him for it, but goh's self-conscious enough that it would probably make him stop, so either gary would have to work to convince him it's okay or he would just have to realize that goh would be mortified to be called out for stealing his sweaters and not say anything at all even though he wants to lol. he might tease more later in their relationship, though, when goh is a little more stable about these things). this headcanon is in two parts, one of which being i headcanon gary as being taller than goh and heavier + more muscular. not like, significantly more so, but enough so that his clothes would be big on goh, whereas goh's would fit him a little more snugly and he wouldn't necessarily like that. the second one is that i think they both talk shit about each other's fashion senses and in general kind of mean it with their whole chest, but whereas goh isn't too bothered by things like this in the greater scheme (and really just likes stealing gary's clothes because they're gary's and it feels comforting to him because of that), gary actually is a lot more Aware of how he looks and has Opinions on how he's presenting himself to the world (even when the world is just his own home, tbh). so yeah!
