I also like playing around with a variation of it having Tooley being BLATANTLY AND UNSUBTLY into Angus right back, but Ango's own crush is crushing him so hard that it's limiting the functionality of his braincells and poor man just Doesn't Fucking Realise no matter what Tooley does. And T can TELL Angus is heads over heels - Angus isn't exactly subtle about the heart eyes - and he'd HAPPILY do something about it if Ango just FUCKING DID SOMETHING ABOUT IT FIRST.

Why doesn't Tooley just fucking shake him by the shoulders and yell it into his face? I don't know. Maybe it's T being confused as shit about the mixed signals A is sending, maybe it's a clash of courting etiquettes with one waiting for the other to make the first move or them constantly misreading/overthinking each other's cues, maybe the wizards neglected to teach Ango any emotional intelligence so he genuinely can't tell when he's being flirted with, or maybe T is literally programmed a certain way and cannot do shit about his emotions (or perhaps wasn't even supposed to have them in the first place so there are no preexisting protocols) unless specific words are uttered or conditions met - words and conditions which would probably be obvious to anyone from Auchtertool, but which Angus has absolutely zero idea about. So he's constantly being cogblocked by his own programming and seething about it.

Either way, the two of them and everyone in their immediate vicinity are Fucking Suffering About It, and the idea of it delights me immensely. Especially if the story still ends and Tooley still dies before they figure it out.

Anyway, you know, it actually wouldn't be an unreasonable assumption given the fact that a) it's hard to build anything in a post apocalyptic fucking wasteland, b) their respective destinies are bound to keep them apart, especially if Angus will be expected to eventually take a wife and keep the McFife line going, and above all else c) lifespan gap. Humans don't live as long as robots do, so it would make sense if Angus just didn't want to doom Tooley to getting attached to someone who'll die in a couple of decades, anyway. Not that Tooley actually gives a shit about that, he's ready for that kind of pain because he knows that the joy of the brief time they'd spend together would be absolutely worth it, but hey, if that's what Angus wants...

It’s a disorganized mess right now so not turning said light on but yeah, the switch for it and the fan are outside the door and it’s still weird after all these years. I have no idea why they did the wiring this way, other than for being a full bathroom including a garden tub/shower and the towel and storage cabinets, there’s not a lot of space in there.
