As the last day of my first Pride Month being out comes to an end, I just want to say that whether you're out or not, whether you're celebrating openly or quietly, you are seen, you are loved, and you belong.
One of the reasons I love Pride Month is because it reminds me that there are so many people like me. It lets me see adults who were once repressed queer teens become people who made it through the uncertainty and created lives where they could be loved, supported, and unapologetically themselves.
I aspire to be like them. One day, I will help queer teens, no matter their situation, overcome whatever is holding them back. That's what community means to me: lifting each other up, offering hope, and reminding one another that none of us have to face things alone.
Happy Pride, everyone !! And thank you to all my friends and my Zenith for making this first Pride Month as my authentic self one I'll never forget. I can't wait for next year <3
