[The king of destruction stayed where he was standing before grabbing Salt and pulling him away]

“No. You’re giving me attention.”

They would be frowning if you could see their face. But they relent and set down the brush. Much to Nox’s displeasure, as he whinnies at Spice specifically.

[Spice stuck his tongue out at Nox and ran off]

“You hate me so much!”

[He claims as he demands attention by nuzzling his head into Salt]

Salt chuckles quietly. "Perhaps I ought to groom you instead. Would you prefer that?"

Meanwhile, Spice is being stared down by a horse. A horse who wants his knight.

“I wouldn’t argue about it.”

[He looks at his own hair]

“It’s fairly tangled.”

[He looks at them before going back to nuzzling them]

They pet his head gently, trying to be careful about their armor tangling in the hair. That would not be pleasant for either party. They gently scritch with the sharp ends of each finger. So careful, even though they know Spice could take just about any injury.

[He began to purr loudly, the scratching was relaxing to him. If he had a tail it would be furiously wagging]

“Mmm.. your scratches are acceptable.”
