Maki’s had the most effort put into it, I will not lie.

All the drawings are that black, the offwhite and two colours that I mixed around with, even Maki’s.

Edit: oh right I forgot to mention the yellow, all colours have that yellow too lmao

1. The blown kiss. Of course.

ACTUALLY THIS KISS WAS FASCINATING I don't think anyone else does this? Not even Rise?

It's also not at all Yosuke's style of flirting? Because he normally tends to use humour or jokes he's a WORDS person (which is amazing considering how bad he is at expressing himself with words LOL) so this is definitely bold and definitely Something (TM).

2. Kanamin asking if they were a couple during their partner dance like ???

Also Nanako makes a comment about their bromance and I am so sure that it was yosuke who taught her that word because he's the one who said "bromantically entangled" during Valentine's Day if you spend time with him, Teddie and Kanji

Speaking of family

3. Yosuke clearly being on close terms with Dojima/Yu's family in Inaba even in Yu's absence

Dojima could have called Yu himself but he went through Yosuke instead. Because he knows they talk.

(Actually this was a flag for me because it was the exact kind of thing I used to get - when my partner was living in another city my father in law would give me messages to deliver to my partner because we're family. QED Dojima sees Yosuke as family-)

Also Rise pointed out Dojima's presence but Yosuke being the first person to directly address Dojima at the food court? Take it from me, this is actual son-in-law obligations behaviour. There's suddenly a hierarchy. All of your other friends are shuffling off in awkward silence in front of the parents but not you. You gotta do your job.

Also also Nanako's ongoing good relationship with Teddie... and we know who's Teddie's chaperone, don't we

3. The couples clothing

The samey saturation/tone in typically opposite colours. The vertical vs horizontal stripes. Yu in a v-neck, a style Yosuke is known for. Did they go shopping together?? They don't even live in the same town anymore and yet. And yet. They're wearing matching clothes??? Atlus how. Atlus why. Don't you dare say it was a coincidence because their outfits in p4g were always so stylistically different from each other 😭

4. Their personas' instruments

Most of the team's personas played the same instruments that they did during the concert event in p4g, apart from Teddie, Naoto and Rise, and I guess it makes some sense for them?

Yu's concert event was a bass guitar (also... a bass guitar that Yosuke taught him to play...), so Izanagi is also playing a bass guitar.

BUT

Izanagi-no-Okami is playing a normal guitar, not a bass guitar.

LOOK! SIX STRINGS!!

So for some reason it was changed? But instead of being more distinct it just... became the same as Yosuke's. And what's Izanagi-no-Okami? Oh, you know, just Yu's ultimate persona and the culmination of all of his bonds with everyone in Inaba. You know, the most important thing.

Listen the game has spent FAR too much time driving home its point about hearts and dancing and true feelings and emotions and all that for me to let this point go

5. Their partner tracks include the songs titled Your Affection and Signs of Love (TK Remix). Remixes aside there are only two songs in the entire tracklist with titles that explicitly reference positive love (there's also Heartbeat Heartbreak but, well.) - Your Affection and Signs of Love.

I'm sensing a pattern.
