Juvinile. A very talented new artist arrived into the music industry with his fresh new sound. Originally from Portland, Jamaica, Juvinile grew up in a musical environment around sound systems and musicians, picking up his father's musical passion. Juvinile acquired his name by being the youngest member in his group of friends. He moved to London, England in 2001 at just 14. After being around a few other musically talented people, he was introduced to a new musical surrounding, enabling him to make music more freely and share it with a wider audience. Listening to many 'old-skool' artists such as Bob Marley, Super Cat, Shabba Ranks and Dr. Dre throughout his youth, Juvinile uses these influences and incorporates his own style to produce, write and voice his own songs. Being an artist with the privilege of experiencing two different cultures, Juvinile's music explores the reggae/dancehall and UK urban sounds mixed with an American hip-hop influence. He also has been creating music in the dance/house scene, allowing him to appeal to a much larger market. Juvinile has collaborated with many of the biggest London/UK underground artists and has recently done a mini tour in Birmingham, Manchester and Leeds, performing at a few local venues over a few days with a team of people promoting his latest mix tape, "Mud Up: Volume One”. The mix tape is reggae orientated and available on iTunes, Amazon and many other online stores. Short term career goals are to continue to promote his music and to soon release his second mix tape, shortly followed by the album. Details of tours across Europe and the rest of England are soon to be confirmed. Juvinile is an artist not to be missed, soon to take the music scene by storm with his unique sound and interpretation of music along with his loveable and confident personality.
