Kellen Martel

Looking over at the younger, Luke smiled. “Wow, what a name. Are those all your favorite celebrities names or something?” He questioned with a tilt of his head. “School is going great. I’m almost done, I am going to be taking my written test next week and then my physical test the week after.” Luke informed Kellen. “It’s super nerve racking though.. but also super exciting because I am going to be starting a new chapter in my life.” 

"No, but he just kind of looks like a Chris Liam Payne Hemsworth. He’s super huggable, like Chris Hemsworth. And his eyes remind me of Liam Payne’s.” He chuckled lightly. “Almost done? That was fast. I haven't started mine yet.” He mentioned with another giggle. “That’s how I feel about starting school, but it’s gonna be great. For both of us, my fortune cookie said.” 

“He moved here about a month ago.” Heikki explained. “Teaching her how to think logically and solve problems and riddles. Things like that.”

“What about the rest of your family?” He questioned. “Oh, right. What are you going doing this summer?” He asked looking over at both of them. After all the pieces were out on the table, he held up the box for Lumi to see what the puzzle would become. 

“Exactly!” He laughed easily and wrapped his arm around the other’s shoulders, kissing at his jaw. “Hm…. Nope. You have to come up with your suggestions all on your own.” He smiled and pecked the other quickly.

"And that’s your gift to me?” He raised a brow. “Okay. Hold my hand and tell me about your favorite memory.” He mentioned, reaching for Wally’s hand and starting to skip down the street. 

“Its Latin origin meaning ‘from Attica.’“ He answered. “Luci is pretty friendly, she has her days. Only couple years old, I adopted her.”

He paused. “Oh. Um, are most of her days friendly or not friendly? I have a friend named Manahi, and he has a cat with a big personally. At least that’s what it sounds like, from what I’ve been told. Wait, I think I hear hissing. That’s not good.” 

Wally listened to the other in silence, trying his best to think of some reaction that would be ok. Instead he just sat back, crossing his arms. “He’s lucky he’s in jail cause I would put him in the fucking morgue.” The idea of anyone hurting Kellen set Wally off in a way he never would have expected. But here he was, fuming at something that had happened in the past. Something he could’t do a damn thing to fix. “You… I’m glad I can help you.” His face softened and he took Kellen’s hand, kissing the other’s knuckles gently. “I love you so much Kell. I just want you to be happy and it fucking pisses me off that anyone would hurt you like that. I wish so badly I could take away your pain but… At least I can be here to try and stop more pain from happening.”

"Don’t.. Don’t say that.” Kellen whispered, shaking his head at the thought. He didn’t want that. The boy buried his face into the couch for a moment, letting Wally kiss his hand, but staying at the end of the couch. Part of him wanted to crawl into Wally’s arms, like earlier. But he thought that would just make him feel sad and weak, like before. “I wish I could be like those people whose bad experiences make them stronger. Maybe I’m just not meant to be a Britney. Maybe I’m meant to be a Taylor, or something.” he sighed. “I am happy. Most of the time. What you said earlier wasn’t wrong. I do mean it when I smile, but I am also broken. Usually, it’s easy to not think about them.” There was a lot of things that made him sad. Some had gotten easier to live with, than others. “But I can deal with things.” He’d done it for a long time now. “Jus not the sex things.” He shrugged lightly. 

“Is it,” He smiled gently. “It’s nice to meet you, Kellen. No, she has never been outside before.”

"Do you know what it means?” He wondered. “Oh, that’s not good. Let’s hurry.” He moved further into the alley. “I used to work at one of the restaurants here. They’re not nice to cats.” he mentioned, looking around. “How old is she?” 

“I think many people use them for sex.” He shrugged easily and smiled at the other softly. “Well I’m terribly sorry to hear that it’s happened to you. You’re a good kid. You deserve better.” Hs smiled softly. and removed his shirt and undershirt, beginning to also undo his pants with a small smile. “So the bunny ears, the tail, and the shorts. Anything else?”

"That wouldn’t work for me, then.” He shook his head. “Yeah, I don’t think I would do that. If I get into a relationship, I’ll still want to be your friend forever.” He smiled to Andrew. He began staring as the other removed his clothes. His eyes fixed on the zipper, before he was snapped out of it. “I.. Yeah. The zipper.” 

“What did they try to do?” He tilted his head and laughed softly. “I suppose that’s a pretty positive message, isn’t it?”

"Something worse!” Kellen nodded. “It’s the truth! Just don’t try to have sex with a printer. It doesn’t work.” 

Wally nodded his head, tugging off his shirt and throwing it to the side as he tugged on his shirt. “Sounds good. And my gift is whatever you want tonight. For the next four hours I’m like… your manservant.”

Kellen did the same. “Like a butler? Oh, like I’m a king!? I should’ve worn my crown. What would you have me do if I was your manservant?” He didn’t know what exactly to ask of Wally, so he needed some ideas. 

Ricky: You know it. Just like Jujubee, I give good mouth.

Ricky: I won't, I won't. Be ready for me.

Kellen: Is that the girl from X-Men?

“It’s fine. It’s ok.” He rubbed his face, confused. “Wait… you’re not a virgin… but you haven’t had your first time?” Wally felt panic deep in his soul. “Just that you didn’t like him. That you might even hate him.” Wally stood up, starting to pace. “Did he… Did he hurt you, Kellen?” Maybe not the most graceful way to ask, but Wally truly didn’t know and needed to. “Did he force you?”

"I’ve never had sex, but yeah, Brody was the person who took my virginity.” He breathed in deeply. “He was my boyfriend and he would call me that name.” Kellen couldn’t even say the nickname, when thinking about Brody. “He was always really sexual, like touching and stuff. And then, we were in a tree house, drinking, and ... yeah.” Kellen paused for a long moment. “He broke up with me after that, and told me that was the only reason he wanted to be my boyfriend... and other mean things.” Kellen focused on breathing. “He did apologize to me later, though. Tried to make it up to me, and I forgave him.” Though, Kellen only said he forgave Brody because he could see the other’s guilt eating away at him, not because he truly forgave Brody. “I looked him up a few months ago, and it turns out he was sent to jail. I don’t know for what, though.”

He sighed deeply. “I want to have sex and do things, you know. But I don’t know what I’m so scared of. I trust you, and I really really want it to be with you, but whenever I think of it ... happening, I ... I just panic. I freeze up and I don’t want to do it, anymore. And it’s not like I’m thinking of Brody.” The memories with Brody had manifested themselves into a fear around sex, but Kellen had no idea how or why that was. “It doesn’t make sense, but I know it has to do with him. He’s the only person holding me back. You’re not. You’re the opposite. You’re helping me.” Kellen paused again, scratching at his arm as he thought back to moments earlier when they were talking about other sad stuff. “What happened sucked, but I’m working not it.” He didn’t want Wally to feel like he had to say anything or fix something, like the other had mentioned earlier. Part of him didn’t want Wally to say anything, which was why he kept on talking. “Thanks to you, I’m getting better... I think. You’re the greatest person I’ve ever met. I’m sorry I have to leave, but I promise nothing’s gonna change. Except for like the distance.” 

Andrew nodded his head and smiled. “I much agree. They’re so much better in my opinion.” He chuckled softly and nodded his head. “Are you certain? I think I’ll look less sexy and more awkward…” Still, he grabbed the bag, beginning to undo his suit. “I’ve never done an online app either. Perhaps it’ll end up working out for you?” He shrugged. “Some do… Some just want me gone.”

The boy began thinking of all the friends he’d lost touch with. He hoped one day they’d come back in to his life. “It sucks, though, when you best friend finds someone, and your friendship isn’t the same.” He smiled, looking up at Andrew imagining him with the suit on. “There’s only one way to find out.” Kellen had never seen Andrew without a suit. “A lot of them are for sex, aren’t they?” He asked curiously. “Oh, no. That’s sad.” 

Ricky: That and my charming mouth and witt.

Ricky: I'll be by later to come pick you up and make sure you're ready. It'll be a blast.

Kellen: Is that like your super power?

“Someone tried eating a printer? Why would they do that?” He furrowed his brows, disgusted just at the thought of it.

“Ummmm, no. No one tried to eat printer. They tried doing something else, though. The point is anything is possible if you believe.” 

“My papa does live close by and apparently likes the way some of my friends look.” Heikki sighed. He moved to hug Kellen, along with Lumi. “Well, I think that the puzzle is just perfect. I was just starting to teach Lumi a unit on logical thinking. It’s actually going to reinforce the lesson.”

"Oh, since when?” He smiled, dumping the puzzle pieces on a clear spot on the table. “Logical thinking?” He asked like he’d never heard of that in his life. 

Wally laughed softly as he watched Kellen. He moved closer, cupping the other’s face and kissing him slowly. “Well then let’s go. Or should we put on our shirts first?” 

Kellen smiled into the kiss, feeling all nice from it. “Is that my gifts?” He grinned. “But lets kiss when we get there so we’re not late. And let’s do both, we’ll put the shirts on the way there.”
