You should first contact the seller to resolve your issue with a purchase. The seller has 2 business days to respond to you and attempt to resolve your issue.

You can file a claim for the full price of an item with a purchase price up to $2,000 including tax and shipping. You have a lifetime coverage limit of $10,000.

I thought I'd make a little list of advice for different scenarios incase it's ever needed. (hopefully not)

There's plenty of information on how NOT to get caught, this is just tips incase you ever do and things I wish I had known.

IF you are caught by someone like *loss prevention*, who has no legal power to stop you just get away. run, leave, drive away etc whatever you do just get away. don't give them your ID ever, don't give them your real name etc. If you didn't bag conceal show them the inside of your bag, try not to look sus if the situation isn't too tense

if they chase you as long as they ARE NOT POLICE, GET AWAY. loss prevention dosent have a badge they are staff they are not officers they have no legal power to pysically restraint you or search you. if your stopped by them no matter how intense the situation is just get away, try WALKING first.. run if you have to, i don't recommend running unless it's an emergency like them trying to block your exit etc!

IF YOU ARE STOPPED BY POLICE IN STORE OR POLICE WHO WERE CALLED - COOPERATE !!!

I know it's a natural instinct to run but most police will chase you.. the only real thing you can do in this situation is what I did, give up your items - apologize, hell cry if you can just fake it and bullshit until you make it out that store do not catch a charge, if your an adult it's up to them to press charges and they usually will so I'd say avoid any stores that are gaurded with police like wàllmàrt has started doing and malls with good security. Because if you are of age they will most likely prosecute take your photo take your information etc even charge you, if your a minor they can't take photos of you, if you have a parent that's on board with what you're doing or at least understands make it clear to them if you ever get caught do NOT give ID. police just need a parent to confirm your information, meaning you could write totally false info, name address etc and all your guardian needs to do is say it's correct and you should be on your way. Be very respectful to cops if they're stopping you and act very emotional if needed don't give them attitude be as polite and apologetic as ever.

AGAIN I REPEAT: IF STOPPED BY POLICE DO NOT RUN TO GET AWAY THEY WILL CHASE YOU AND AS SOON AS YOU LEAVE THE STORE IT IS A *FELONY*

best to just give up what you have and cooperate as much as possible and you will make it out

checklist if stopped by loss prevention:

Walk away calmly at first be confused etc, IF chased or in danger, do anything it takes to get away and get home safely.

Don't let them ID you they aren't police they have no power to forcefully ID you.

Do not admit to anything.

(if they threaten to call the police let them but don't stick around for when any cops get there)

do not aggravate them don't be petty no matter how much you dislike them don't be stupid and anger them

as long as you are able to give up items and be as nice as you can and apologetic you should be able to get away without a charge they will usually put your name into the stores system if you are an adult I don't know how it would directly work besdies needing to give up your actual info witch sucks. but cooperating is best so you don't catch a charge.
