Yoooooo.

Firstly! Addison Spamton! He's so fun to think about. I just like the idea of him looking not only like every other Addison but also the most unassuming, meekest one. He's unlucky and bad at getting into people's faces and making sales, he came out shorter than the other Addisons so he frequently gets overlooked by other darkners and is sort of treated like a child by the other Addisons. They tend to take him less seriously and pity him. None of them are malicious about it, but they aren't really there for him, and Spamton knows it.

This leads to Spamton feeling like they just keep him around to make themselves look better, placating him anytime he talks about making it big, and feeling like an addon when they all hang out, and he does that thing where he bites down on all of his negativity and toxicity, and never actually communicates his misgivings to anyone around him, thus staying in the same cycles and growing more and more bitter towards them and building hidden resentments.

So when he gets in contact with the man on the phone, he is really susceptible by the idea of proving himself better than everyone else and finally making it big and being the one everyone looks at.

Next up, the Rising Star Spamton! This is shortly after he first gets in contact with the man on the phone and starts to get successful, now being able to get clothes that fit him, and getting more deals, he also starts to lose some of his glow and color, but he easily brushes it aside when he's successful. Unfortunately, he's been ghosted by two of the other Addisons due to jealousy but that's alright, he didn't need them anyways.

He still tries to mask his more unpleasant thoughts and bitterness, but sometimes while talking to Blue or Yellow a nasty comment will slip out about Pink or Orange, and it's extremely awkward and tense, especially since they still see him a bit through the lense of being a harmless and meek guy, so it's off-putting to hear him be more venomous. This leads to assuming that his rising success is what's changing him, rather than his mask slipping.

Then in Big Shot Era! I'll be completely honest and state that I'm not entirely certain how the timeline is rn, so I just have it so that his TV host stuff with Tenna is happening at the same time that he's also a salesman for cars at cybercity, supposedly during a time when the laptop was brought into the house for a bit, so Spamton can go back and forth between both worlds.

But anyways, all this to say, I wanted him to still be sort of friends with Blue still during his Big Shot era, having him as one of his only ties to his past life and Tenna and the TV Time show as his brighter future. Makes it an interesting conundrum on whether he should move out of the palace and live full time in the shiny TV World when the laptop inevitably is taken back from the Dreemur household again.

At this point it's more obvious to Blue that Spamton wasn't suddenly changed into an asshole by fame, and that he had grown a lot of resentment far before he got that first phone call, but at the same time, that whatever is on the other side of the calls seems to almost be puposefully cultivating Spamton's worst traits and urges. Blue as such stays and tries to keep Spamton tethered and grounded. He avoids Tenna because he considers him to be enabling of the worse behaviors that Spamton struggles with, and dislikes him for further pulling Spamton away.

Finally. Fucked up puppet Spamton. All alone, lost his color, his glow, his fame, money, home, furniture... his friends, his calls. His hair dye has been growing out and he can't afford eye contacts anymore so he's back in his round glasses. Seems that he's added marker ink onto them though.

He's incapable of seeing his own faults and sees himself as the eternal underdog, abandoned and pushed down time after time. He's completely abandoned a polite or nice mask, saying what he wants when he wants, it's almost like he's incapable of filtering his speech, and instead something else is choosing what to withhold or hide from prying ears. Either way he is deeply unpleasant to talk to, even when he likes you, not even getting into his ear splitting and migraine inducing speech quirks.

He's desperate to get back to his fame, to gain control of himself and hold some sort of power once again. He doesn't care how it happens, it's his cause that justifies any means necessary. Also. He's literally wearing his TV Time outfit. He just dyed the jacket black to try and get into the castle, and it's been damaged and fixed up to unrecognizability. Wonder why he's so attached to it. Certainly not because he is The Most Divorced Man Ever. Nope, just because it's his old glory days. That's all. Nothing else. He is not yearning.

Also. I would like to brag about being literally the only person to be a Green Spamton truther as far as I know. And not only that, but I've been fully in the camp for years now, since the original Ch. 2 release actually. ... I'm just making an excuse to show my older art in context to my newer stuff. But hey! You TOO can be a Green Spamton truther! One person at a time we can make BIG it onto GAME THEORY!
