And I just had to have a meeting with one of the engineering managers in which all of his questions had been answered already by myself and another person in the email chain HE started about it.

I’m planning on taking Piglet to my parents to play after nap, and even though I showered this morning I feel like I need to shower again??

I played outside with Piglet for a couple hours, then detailed the car, so I’m sweaty again.

I actually don’t think I look gross or smell or anything but mostly I hate having sweaty clothes.

I guess the answer to that is change your clothes, Kate.

Omg we realized today what this one funny thing is that Piglet does. So first of all he’s now started saying “Daddy poo poo” Or “mommy poo poo” if he hears one of us fart. He also would sometimes do this thing where he lifts us the back of our shirt and like looks at our lower backs.

We realized today that they’re connected. He says “daddy poo poo” and then goes and does the shirt lift thing.

Guys. He’s “checking our diaper”. Because we do it to him when he farts.

I don’t have a plan for after nap, but the pond was fun last week. Adam is still out buying my car... lots of negotiating I guess. I gave him a pep talk with all my contract negotiation knowledge lol.

I checked the monitor footage of Piglet falling asleep and as soon as Adam fired up his John Deere outside, Piglet started clapping and excitedly saying “daddy gactor!!!”

My bike ride/dinner out was such a great idea. Piglet was an absolute delight! Adam and I split a salad and a pizza and it hit the spot.

SUBURBAN FRIDAY NIGHT ACHIEVEMENT UNLOCKED

I’m p excited to finally get rid of Adams old car. It’s been sitting in our driveway since he bought his new one, taking up space and rusting before our eyes.

I’m not as psyched for a new car, it’ll be cool, but I sort of like my old shitty car bc I don’t care about it. I don’t think I’m grown up enough for a real car! It is still used of course but will be 10 years newer than mine.

Anyway that’s what we’re up to today mostly. Financing and buying a new (to us) car.
