This and that. And it’s all bullshit. Because people aren’t lists. And I’ve always wanted to be the person who made someone realize that. RECEIVE THE WORD -All of us will not progress in our spiritual walk without the word of God. -One of the goals of discipleship is self-feeding, not endless spoonfeeding. -Be personal with God. -Allow God to speak to you through His Word. -God's Word changes our lives. -You will find your purpose through the Word of God. 2. RENEW OUR MIND Romans 12:2, Romans 8:6 -We are warned not to conform to the patterns of this world. -The patterns of this world is contrary to God's will. -God wants to transform us and it will start by renewing our mind. -God's Word will help us to transform and renew our mind. -God deals with us through our minds through His Words. ❗False beliefs ❗ 🚫Salvation by works 🚫Do your best and God will do the rest 🚫Everything happens for a reason 🚫Bad Luck/ Good Luck ▶Promise of God ▶Prayer 3. RECOGNIZE GOD'S WILL "The bible will keep you from sin or sin will keep you from the bible." - DL Moody Matthew 4:4 - God's word aligns us to His will. - God's word causes us to have a Christlike attitude. - God's word is our standard that can be used in every situation of life. - God's word is enduring, smiling, wonderful and awesome. THE WILL OF GOD IS: ✔ GOOD. ✔ PLEASING. ✔ PERFECT. The safest place to be in is to know that you are in the perfect will of God. How do we respond to the word of God? ▫ Read ▫ Meditate ▫ Believe ▫ Declare 1 Peter 1:24-25
