This kitty has claws

Roxy pouted “don’t say that, she’ll hear you” he huffed as he cover the kittens ears “Viscera? That sounds weird…and not ladylike at all” he grumbled “how bout Primrose! Prim for sort?” He suggested with a wide smile.

Roxy got up and leaned up to give Gotrik a little peck on the kiss as a thank you “shh, you say that now, but once she starts cuddling you, she’ll be your baby too” he purred playfully before raising a brow “she’s a girl. Lucifer is too manly for her. She’s a princess. She deserves a name that shows that…hmm…maybe Diana?”

Roxy squeaked as the kitten was tossed onto his lap carelessly. “Gotrik!” He whined “you coulda hurt her! She’s just a baby” he huffed as he picked up the kitten and held her to his chest “but…thank you, daddy.” He whispered “she’s beautiful” he sighed as he let his hands run over the dark fur of the Persian kitten. “You have to help me name her! She’s our baby, we gotta pick together!”

Gotrik strode into Roxy’s room holding a squirming kitten with a bow around it’s neck like it might explode and promptly tossed it into Roxy’s lap. “That is yours. You are responsible for it’s up keep and cleaning up after it. I will be most annoyed if I find it’s shedding hair everywhere.” He of course sounded very annoyed though the gift had been his idea. He thought the kitten would be good for his Kitten and might redirect some of his energy so he’d be more pleasant as a whole, but that didn’t mean he had to like the idea of having a actual pet as if they were some sort of suburban family.

Roxy looked up to see Grayson leaning down to help him “Oh…Mr tablet guy! Thank god” he squeaked out before deciding it would be best to stay still as Grayson ripped at the yarn. “T-Thank you so much..I owe you one” 

Chuckling when he was called, Mr. Tablet Guy. He shook his head a little. “My name is Grayson, not Mr. Tablet Guy.” Tearing some more at the yarn until the other was free from it, the werehyena smiled at Roxy. “It’s no problem really, you don’t owe me anything.” Taking off his jacket, “Here though, cover up, or you may catch a cold, or unwanted advances. Will you need help getting back to your suite?” 

The fading smile just made Gotrik smile widen as he heard the complaint. “No kitten. I think you look adorable at the end of my leash and I want everyone to know you are mine.” He seemed to think for a second and winked. “You get the coat and the collar. Or you get no collar and no coat up to you kitten.” 

“Look, I told you before that I am not looking to take over your anything with that man. I’d actually prefer it if he spent all his time with you and left me alone,” Kang would never understand how anyone could be protective over anything related to Gotrik, but he was also not Roxy and he would never know how the young man truly felt. “I mean, you like him and I really don’t. So I think you’re safe where you’re at.” The kirin made a small face at that thought. 

“What is it that you like about him anyway?”

Roxy let out a soft sigh in relief “Well..I mean..I like that he protects me. And he’s nice to me most of the time. Also he acts like he really cares about me...Which is nice” he explained with a little shrug “I guess he acts differently towards everyone but to me..I really care about him”
