i have actually struggled a lot with this in the past, and i did a couple things that definetly helped me

i tried pushing myself out of comfort zones a little, for me i tried to change my line art to look more detailed and stylized or more cartoony so i could push certain features a little more

i would try out new brushes, new shading, try drawing things you never have before, and really focus on your line weight. how your lines look is a big part in how the end product will be

i would just say try to break out of your art box a little and take in inspiration and try to add it into your work to see what you like, and scrap things you dont

My question is, what are some good things to practice drawing? (As someone who really wants to learn but hasn’t tried in forever…) I really want to start drawing because I have so many Pinterest boards with OC ideas and troupes, all the lore is jammed into my head and I want to express it!

(Also I love Blaire and how detailed his lore is..!)

frist of all, thank you!!! im happy my art has helped in some way and that you liked the blaire design :)

theres a lot of good things to practice when it comes to your art, but i think you should mainly start with the basics, and just practice getting down a flow with whatever medium youre using, and testing out settings if youre doing digital stuff

anatomy is always something good to practice and something im still learning, drawing and trying your hand at different facial features, and just testing out diffferent styles you like (and using lots of references)

and over time it will start turning into what you like and you'll get more comfortable

I’ve been watching your videos for a while and I would like to know how to draw like you. Maybe you could make a video to show how to draw in your style.

i do have a video up where i kind of walk through how i draw faces, but I can plan on making a more in depth style-focused video in the future :)

(Im asking a few others with creepypasta ocs I can find but I think Blaire's whole thing is really interesting so I just had to ask)
