welcome!

if you're new and havent seen them before, these two are my ninjago ocs! on the left is Hikaru, the right is his twin sister, Shio. they're the elemental masters of the Sun and Moon respectively. i could talk about their lore but i'll resist for now and just discuss what happens to them after the merge. if you wanna see their designs prior to dragons rising take a look at my blog :^) (maybe one day i'll explain their backstories in a different post...)

SO, to begin! as written on his reference, Hikaru winds up in the administration realm with Jay. we don't know how Jay lost his memories yet, but from the season 4 trailer, i've theorized that the admins have something to do with it. Hikaru witnessed whatever happened to Jay and in fear, he pretended he had already lost his memories so that they wouldn't mess with him, which surprisingly worked! he then worked alongside Jay at the administration, all while trying to hopefully get Jay to remember his past... he sticks by Jay's side throughout everything, from the tournament of sources to him becoming a bounty hunter. i like to think that Rogue!Jay holds a soft spot for Hikaru, letting him stay as long as he does because well, he's probably lonely.

as for Shio, she ends up with Kai in the realm of monsters. the two worked together to survive, though it didn't take long before a mergequake forcefully separated the two. Shio then found herself in another strange land and was picked up by a traveling troupe who took care of her. she offered her voice to them, because much to their surprise, she was actually a great singer! (never judge a book by its cover) Shio decided to stay with them since 1. they were already traveling around making it easier for her to try and find her way back home and 2. they were nice folks and she wanted to repay their generosity. thus, the group went from realm to realm performing for others to make their living.
