âHa! Who knows, she might have a future in softball.â Clarissa chuckled, giving Lizzie the toy back and laughing as she squealed in joy. At his question, Clarissa shrugged lightly and glanced down at the baby in the stroller. âNot really but I know the signs. Been there myself a while ago.â Memories of her time as a full-time babysitter for her friends flashed through her mind. âDo you think heâs teething? That could be a reason why heâs so fussy and hard to put down?â It was something she had learned while helping Rose with Liv. It was only then that Toto decided it was a good time to come and investigate what going on and ran up to sniff at Kip and the stroller, his tail wagging happily.Â

Kip nodded his head and laughed. âShe could.â He said and shrugged his shoulders. âMaybe. I mean he is 5 months so that could be it. All I need is for him to sleep for more than an hour at a time.â He said and sighed as he looked down at the dog. âWell hello there.â He said as he knelt down and offered his hand for Toto to sniff.
